The sexual content is quite graphic for the PG-13. It includes heavy kissing. The violence is also disturbing. But a very good film, btw.

Wonderful, these Marvel movies continue to amaze me!Like Spider-Man 2, I believe the second of this trilogy is better than both #1 and #3. However, this movie is not as kid friendly as Spider-Man 2 is. There is more graphic violence, alchohol, smoking, and sexuality. Though this is one of the better comic book movies out there, it is also one of the more violent. Parents, know your kid. I do not believe this is appropriate for anyone under the age of twelve, and even twelve year olds will find it to be pushing their limits a bit. This is a must see for teens and up!

X2 is the best of the X-Men films. This one is more intense than it is violent. Also, there is a scene with implied oral sex in a bathroom stall between a woman and a man.

Way too much violence and sexuality for kids.

X-men 2 was better than the first one, but mainly because the second movie allowed for more character development and in the first one they had to take the time to introduce the characters. I highly enjoyed this movie, there is some sexual content(nothing graphic), some violoence(it is an action flick), and a little bit of strong language, but still a movie I think the kids could handle seeing. I did say that I thought that this flick is better than the first, but that does not mean that the first one isn't good. And, I do recommend seeing the first one before watching this one or else you might be lost.

However violence is a constant in this film including stabbing, drugging someone against there will, and punching/kicking others. Another large part of the movie is the sexuality which is a little scary. This includes Mystique and a men kissing each other passionately while stumbling around a bathroom, then going into a stall (still kissing) and Mystique starts taking off clothing. Then Mystique lays on a bed with Wolverine and kisses. The official review was not very accurate. KITTY is da bomb! sexual concerns in bathroom. Mstquitic is sexually confused

I loved this movie but the common sense review was not good. Parents need to know that there kids are watching people stab each other for like half the movie. there isn't much blood but there's a LOT of violence. characters kiss but other than that no sexy stuff. A character sticks up their middle finger. there's d--k, d--m, and h--l. One character kind of scared me. he made these illusions where he was a freaky little girl that's pretty scary. over all a great movie.

It is a pretty decent movie, although it is not for young'uns. there is a part where it show's part of Wolverines past and it is not pretty, for 1-10.

This one is better than the first. However, it is more dark and violent.

In my opinion, this is the best one yet (including the third). The action is better that the first, where the body count is in the small single digits. This one is different. The body count is in the large double digits (Sorry about grading movies on body count. This seems more appropriate for a guy with metal knives imbedded in his hand), and the special effects are no longer laughable. A good action movie all around

The best out of all 3 movies! It shows how poeple who don't liek eachother can get along. It also shows how you can stand up to a bully, (wolverine stands up to stryker the man who experemented (sp.) on him. One of them gives her life to save the others. One doesn't like being told what to do. Rouge is protective of wolveriene.

This is a fantastic movie, and definatly deserves five stars. Much better than the first X-men, because it is more serious (less cheesy) and has really good action. Plus, the charactors show a more emotional social side than in the first. It is a clean movie. There is little language, and not really any bad violence problems. Characters do kiss though, and there are some parts that would be scarey for kids under say, age 7. This is one of the best movies i have seen in a long time, and the actors and actresses do an amazing job (hugh jackman espically)

yeah this was alright. it's kind of the...predictable plot of a sequel...i thought the MPAA rating reasons were a bit strong with its opinions of sex, and language. i mean....yeah some people kiss. big dea. hopefully, x-men 3 will be okay as well.

I give X2: X-Men United a 4 star rating, almost a 5 star. It was exciting, loads of fun, and one of the best superhero movies ever. An improvement on the first movie and an improvement on the entire superhero genre. As for the content: there is some swearing, including an obvious middle finger used in a comical way. There are some sexual scenes, but nothing explicit, and plenty of non-bloody violence. Good for kids: 11+

I am a big fan of Marvel comics and am very familiar with the X-men characters. I liked the original for how well it fit in with the comics, but I didn't recommend it to people who were not comic fans, as that is who it was really designed for. The same is not true of X2 It stays true to the comics and also serves as a fine action move for the non comic fan, although it might not make too much sense to some one who missed the original.
