Alien vs Predator was a great movie for die hard fans and other people to, my friend who hasn't seen any of the other movies really liked it, It contains very little language except there is one curse word that they like to use in those movies the big F. The violence may be a little to much for some tweens and this probably isn't somthing most parents would enjoy (except for the cool ones) due to the sci-fi themes and there are a lot a grisly scenes including aliens rushing out of humans bodies, and the aftermath of someone getting digested by baby alien larva.
This movie is not scary, I saw it and then slept like a rock! And look, I'm not sure if its just me, because I saw Friday the Thirteenth, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Shining, and Child's play in 2 days! I wasn't even remotely scared.
Bottom Line: 12+
The movie very violent (aliens getting there heads cut off things popping out of peoples chest ex.) there wasn't very many instances were it showed people getting hurt but the violence between the Aliens and Predators made up for it. 1 "f-word"
The movie is good, the only problem is language and violence. Language is only bad in the last 15 min. (An alien is placing a bomb in it's enemy's area that is full of there eggs and then the human woman understands and says "I hope it blows every F##kin' one of them.
Even though this one is PG-13 not only is it better than the R-rated sequel, but it actually is more violent. It doesnt show as much as the other one ut there is so much more action which makes this one surprisingly better than the sequel
Alien vs. Predator was sort of like a video game at times, but is actually better than it looks. There are some pretty good action scenes and the scene with the Queen Alien was awesome, but it was a ridiculous, nerdy movie overall. Just mediocre.
Violence: 8 out of 10

i want to start by sayin ill be 14 in 2 months, and they still havnt updated my age. this movie is ok...it couldve been worse, it couldve been better. the setting is very unbelievable. a pyramid under antarctica...ya, sure whatever. anyway if you can overlook that the action is pretty good. i just dont like that there wasnt as much blood and gore (on the alien and predators part) as the original movies. and they cut way back on the blood on the chestbursters so the kiddies could get in. thats the problem. its not very realistic like the original predators and alien movies were. but of course, to make up for that you have overkill and overly gory and bloody deaths in alien vs predator requiem. i really miss arnold and sigourney. its like they put two movies worth of blood and gore into avpr. anyway, avp is for 13 and up even though it isnt that great

HAHA, how ridiculus and stupid!
How does one enjoy this movie? Make fun of it! It isn't scary, the plot is plain stupid, the acting was cheezy,, and the special effects werent that great. Rent something else. Not too violent, one bad word.
This movie has the best action ever, it is one of the most violent PG-13 movies you'll see, and if you don't like language just mute it when he sets up a bomb. Sex, Drugs, and Social Behavior not an issue, an awesome movie for you to see.
I liked it, but it had it's cons. One use of the f-word, and lots of people say sh-t and d@mn. Gore wasn't too bad, and nothing sexual. The plot wasn't great, mostly the pyramid 2000 feet under the ice thing :P
