When I first saw this, I thought it was a horror movie (though I was 11 and somehow it didn't scare me one bit). Now I realize it's something called a...horror-comedy? Great movie, very scientifically factual, but I didn't find it scary OR funny any of the three times I saw it. (Ehm! Watch it...over and over.)
My rating: PG-13 for some brief creature violence, a scene of partial nudity, and some language.
I watched this when I was nine, and it didn't scare me one bit. But if you're scared of spiders, don't watch it. A scene of brief nudity (girl in shower), and some spider bites, but nothing worse.
I really liked this movie when I first saw it, but the next time I didn't like it as much. I think I liked it more the first time because saw it with my older brother and he's deathly afraid of spiders. A girl is shown partially naked in a shower. Spiders kill numerous living things. Language includes one b-tch, d-mn, hell, a few s---t, god d-mn. Overall a good movie.
We watched this is science class and it was sooo good! Like alot of the class was sooo scared. Like we were all screaming! But the big spider was really cool. It totally shocked you at some parts. It is a little older movie, the lighting in the movie is really bad. I dont know why everyone is saying sex is an issue cause it isnt. And ya this is a PG 13 movie so they are going to use the common cuse words but it doesnt bother anyone.
I like how Dr.Jennings stood up to his fears at the end. When you see the body after the spider bit it is scary. Also a funny movie. Probably scarier if you have arachnophobia.
