Parents need to know that this DVD is a sweet and funny tale suitable for young viewers, following a super spy on his mission to keep three mysterious containers out of a very mild villain's clutches. Lots of songs and even more dancing characterize the action, and even direct tension between the good and bad characters is defused with admirable politeness. For extremely ticklish kids, the scenes of the tickle chairs may be off-putting (though the only character who is actually subjected to it is, it turns out, not ticklish.)
Positive messages:Simple message that even the youngest viewer will catch on to: it's better to be good than bad.
what the heck?!! This movie is the dumbest thing nick jr. has ever thought of! And no one should ever watch it! why do all u you give it 4 or 5 stars and say it's a great movie?!!! It's boring and stupid stupid and boring i tell u!!!! And if you guys agree with me u can compliment my review if u don't compliment it that means u like this movie. And i doubt any of u like it.
My son is 4 and we both enjoyed it. It was adventurous. It promoted good over bad. It also showed that "people" can change from bad to good. As the norm with the Backyardigans, they showed that we all need help sometimes and that working as a team, works.
My daughter and I watched Super Secret Super Spy several times since it first aired over a month ago. I love the show and I'm so glad they can make movie I look forward to another one in the near future and I'm sure my three year old daughter would agree.
