This movie is FREAKING HILARIOUS! Except it can use some foul language and sexual content, and mild violence. But once your kids turn 11 or 12, WATCH IT WITH THEM!!!!!!!

funny stuff!!
I honestly love this movie! it does have some iffy stuff. i saw this when i was 12 or 13 and thought some of the jokes were a little over the top, but i really dont think this movie was intended to be taken seriously, just humorously. but do not show this movie to younger viewers. even to a sensitive viewer i dont think the violence would bother them.

Um wrong, behind the crudness of this PG-13 flick (which you have given cruder films higher ratings this)
is a message about every kid being able to play baseball.

No wonder they didn't screen this in advance for critics!
Be forewarned, this is a vile movie full of crude humor and aggressive social behavior. I accidentally took ten-year-olds thinking it was a feel-good baseball movie. It's definitely not. The social message is so twisted and bigoted toward certain groups that it held no redemption at the end. It was never funny, because it was so lacking in creativity. It takes a total absence of talent of all kinds to make a movie this bad!

The Benchwarmers was a stupid comedy from Adam Sandler that had some funny moments but way more idiotic moments than the funny ones.
I think that the website made a bigger deal out of the inappropriate parts than it really was. For a PG-13, it actually was on the safer side. Very little language and only comic violence, some sexual references but not any overly gross ones. I thought it would be appropriate for anyone 12 or older, even a mature 10 year old could handle it.
I'm not saying that it was a good movie, but the website made kind of a mountain out of a molehill about this just average film.

Nerds will like it, Everyone else will hate it
This is overall an average movie. I believe nerds will like this movie while everyone else hates it. There are lots of nerdy references throughout the movie. If your a nerd give this movie a shot. If you are not pass on this movie.

Too much sex!
This movie is full of sexual jokes, innuendo and blatant disrespect. There is always a joke about the bullies being gay, one bully even has a "friend" over all the time for massages and shows them in underwear. Definately sophmoric humor, watch at your own risk. You DO loose brain cells!
