This movie had some crude humour, that may not be appropriate for younger viewers, but it was a hilarious movie. I usually find Will Ferrell movies to be a disappointment, but this one was definitely funny. Will Arnett and Amy Poehler as skating's golden couple are the best part.
i think that blades of glory was the best movie ever i laughed so much and i was nearly crying too because it was so funny i think that jon heder and will ferrel are the best actors ever. xxxxx
I'll be honest--I'd let my 11 year old watch this, but he's also seen Anchorman, and the language is not much different. I do understand why a parent would not allow younger kids to see this--it IS filthy, but it's funny. Know your kid and know your tolerance for what they see--watch it first yourself--that's what I do when I wonder whether or not to let my son watch a movie!
I was truly surprised by how much I loved this film...I usually hate these sorts of crude/dumb comedies, and I thought the trailers and previews for this film were awful, but I watched it nonetheless and enjoyed myself! The last 45 minutes or so are absolutely hilarious, and I was laughing almost nonstop. It's an extremely entertaining film that I had a really good time watching...and I was surprised but happy to see Pam from 'The Office' in this film!
But it's not really a movie for little kids, since it is a pretty raunchy film with alot of sexual jokes and comic violence. If your kids have seen Anchorman or Dodgeball they will be able to watch this.
