I've always thought the Childs Play movies were more comedys than horrors. It might seem like a horror to some or even most kids, but all around, its not scary.
Not a very well-made edition to the franchise. Tiffany is a some-what memorable character. Chucky's "better half", if you will. She smokes, drinks, and kills people...lovely. There's also a sex-scene between her and Chucky. They only show shadows appearing on the wall behind them, though. Nothing graphic. The role models aren't too good. Well, Tiffany and Chucky are the main characters so...yeah. Good for teens who like slasher comedies, I guess.
Don't review adult movies on a kids movie review site
It dosent have to be for kids so don't say it's a grisly tongue in cheek sequel that's not for kids Its rated r of course if not for kid a so don't review it on a site that reviews movies for kids if its not a kids movie
First of all, this movie isn't scary in any way. It's very over-the-top and ridiculous, but it's supposed to be that way. The writers and directors finally realized that they couldn't really do anything else with the "Child's Play" series, and this whole concept of a killer doll created with voodoo was extremely dumb anyway, so they had a better idea: they would try to make it funny on purpose. And boy, was it. That is, if you're into murderous, bloody, pitch-black humor. But no matter how funny it is, it's not good for kids or younger teens. While none of the violence is at all realistic, it's still very graphic and bloody, with characters being killed in comedic and creative but extremely brutal ways. There are about 15 f-words, and there's one sex scene between two dolls (although the act is not shown on-screen). There's also one scene showing a character get strapped down onto a bed who a woman flirts with and moves herself suggestively. He believes they are about to have sex (he is killed instead). The movie draws most of its laughs from serial killer humor and very violent deaths. This movie is very funny (although not as funny as the next movie, "Seed of Chucky"), but it's not appropriate for young teens.
A frustratingly nonsensical plot, hideous characters, drug use, brutal over the top violence, dolls having raucous sex in silhouette, and really vulgar language. Can only imagine this entertaining immature boys who enjoy bad puns and "imaginative" serial killing.
This movie is really good, but it should not be allowed for children under 15 or 16. It contains strong violence such as a man getting 10 or 15 nails shot into his face. There is language such as the F word that is used 14 times and uses of the S and B word. The sexual content is mostly innuendo. You see a woman striptease with no nudity,2 people clothed having sex and two dolls having sex,but you only see their shadows, but they are thrusting and make up a joke about a condom while doing it.There is also a scene with drugs. You see a couple of people smoking pot and you see the pot wrapped up in a zipblock bag. Good Movie. I don't recommend for anyone under 15.
This film is Rated R for strong horror violence and gore, language, some sexual content and brief drug use.
Bride of chucky is an awesome movie. I love the idea that they gave chucky a wife. I love Tiffany. It's not something that you would want a three year old to watch. I think that kids probably 12/13 could watch it if they have an adult with them. Some parts may need a little explaining. But enjoy! It's a good movie!
This movie is great. I put 17+, but I watched this with my 13 neice and she was affected bt it at all. Just that she can handle a lot more than other kids.
