This is a good movie, well except for one thing - Dark Heart! He's just like No Heart in the spinoff TV series produced by Nelvana, but in boy form! The rest of the movie is heartwarming, with the introduction of True Heart Bear and Noble Heart Horse! Kids 7 and up should not miss it!

Not cute and cudly!
I stopped letting my 5 year old watch this movie because she was afraid of "Dark Heart" at bed time. This character sounds like Linda Blair in the Excorcist at times and basically wants to murder the Care Bears. It all ends up well in the end, but the journey is not a pleasant one. The later Care Bear movies are much more pleasant.

I can't believe our society feeds our children garbage like this.
If you like movies where small children sell their souls to the Devil in exchange for magical powers, this one is for you!

Disturbing
I really thought a care bears movie would be harmless, but I was shocked to see a boy who was supposed to be the devil. The boy had red eyes and turned into various scary animals, such as a red wolf(or fox). He told the young girl in the movie he would give her special powers in exchange for something. Really, do you think a devil figure is appropriate for five year olds? I found this disturbing, and while my five year olds said it wasn't too scary, I could tell by their expressions that they were scared. Avoid this one!
