My kids, age 11 & 6, enjoyed the first movie and were very excited for the sequel. We had a wonderful time. There is a good amount of silliness and they laughed and laughed, some tenderness, and a meaningful ending. All in all, a great family movie!
I thought it was a good movie, although pretty unrealistic (I grew up in a very large family too). Lots of gags and giggles and knee slapping fun for everyone. Absolutely no violence, which is what I want for my kids. Take all the kids and the dog, too, and laugh out loud.
With all the garbage out there, this is worth a viewing
Take your family, especially if you liked the first one. My whole family was in a grumpy mood before the film. Each character (barring Hillary Duff - who is tough to watch) were lovable in their own way. If you don't like this movie, maybe its time for a heart transplant.
