This movie is a dystopian master piece, and a must-watch for mature teens! Harsh language, but great movie (why it’s for mature teens)

Great movie I recommend older teens only. Great story line but a lot of gore and violence

I think the movie should be seen by over 15s because I'm 15 and I thought parts where disturbing. There is a lot of violence and drugs and this should not be seen by children as it WILL give them nightmares. The overall storyline is very intriguing and you want to know what happens next, if you like apocalyptic movies with a positive ending ( and a lot of blood) then this would be perfect.

Children Of Men is a great movie that takes place in England, in a dystopian future where women have become infertile. One man, Theo Faron, gets taken by the Fishes - a rebellion against the government - to help escorting the young woman Kee. On the go he finds out what the Fishes are planning to really do with her, alongside Kee and a woman named Miriam, he escapes. I remember looking to this page to see if I could see this movie. I saw many negative reviews telling me I should be 17 or up. I watched it eventually and figured that was a little too extreme. If you child is used to video game violence, this game shouldn't be any problem. This movie includes some shooting, but that's not that bad. There's a scene where the protagonist walks inside a building in the middle of the battlefield and sees some dismembered bodies, but that's the worst this movie can get. I remember people describing a graphic childbirth scene, but it never came. That's exaggeration. It happens - and you see it - but not up close! It's actually a beautiful moment. There's some great messages in this movie as well. Not much to worry about (if you'd ask me).

This movie was great. Not appropriate for young children even though it is honestly the best movie I have ever seen. One of the main characters dies and that whole scene was extremely sad and disturbing if viewed in that way. Most little kids wouldnt understand Quietuss and i think it is best not to explain it to them especially if they do not notice it. Children of Men is also intense. The childbirth scene made me want to leave the room i also cannot stand shooting. Other than the things i said Children of Men is great for people who can handle the themes in this movie.

I'm a huge fan of sci-fi, but I'll see this when I'm older.
