moving and amazing
it was so great. I cant even think of words to describe it. fans of titanic and the notebook will love it, but so will everyone else. It was gorgeosly done, the acting was to good to be true, and the story was wonderful. The only thing that may disturb younger veiwers was a rather terrifing war scene with a whole lot of blood and machine guns, and a few scenes of steamy sex.

great movie!
I think its a great movie! Yea, so there is some iffy content, but its fine if parents think so and if you can understand it! (i could understand it and im only 9)

great film, too much sex.
This movie is obviously a great movie, but also has no business with kids under 10. Too much sex and drinking. Sex is actually one of the main issues of this fil. More than 15 sexually related things happen in this movie. Otherwise, see it, it's awesome!

It's pretty good, but reeeaaally long. Granted, it's a life story, and it's no FORREST GUMP (as to say that it's no comedy)...
My rating: PG-13 for smoking throughout, some strong language, suggestive content, and some war violence.

A very long big bore. Not suitable for young teens and young kids.
It takes too long in the beginning to get to the guts of the story. The old woman in the hospital is oftentimes very difficult to understand. The story itself is probably a good one but it takes too long to tell and there are roo many random scenes that do not add benefit. Overall a big bore. The sexual scenes are not too bad... no nudity... but I wouldn't let my 11 yr old watch it. The scenes go just enough over the edge that kids should not be seeing it.

Not just another movie based off a book
If you have the opportunity to read F. Scott Fitzgerald's short story The Curious Case of Benjamin Button before watching this movie of its namesake, I highly recommend you do so. If not, you should consider reading it as the short story begins and ends far differently than the movie. After reading the short story and then watching the film, I did see where the inspiration for this great movie derived. There's a type of character growth in Benjamin and sacrifices made are far more sympathetic than of the its original story. This movie carried along its characters with thought, humor, and care, something that was more of a dark humor in Fitzgerald's story. The Case Of Benjamin Button is a beautifully done movie, and although it bore my 9-year old niece to sleep, the teenagers were remained curious throughout the movie.

Film is misrated!
Should be rated R for mature themes and a brief love scene.

I love it how Bradd Pitt went from old to young. A good movie that seems to be romantic. However, it is sad to see Bradd in his final hours as a baby. Some sex scenes you should watch out for.

This movie was awesome!! It was very well put out because usually a 3-hour movie about a man's life would not be exciting. There was always something happening and always great actors/actresses! I would suggest this film to older kids or mature kids because younger kids may find it boring from the lack of action.

This was an amazing, yet upsetting movie. I enjoyed it very much mainly because of the interesting and unique storyline.

Perfect movie with depth!
This was an excellent, epic movie probably being compared to the likes of Forrest Gump and more iconic, remembered-for-decades movies. By "epic" movie, I mean it's epic in an amazing sense, but it's also 2 hours and 45 minutes, which makes it a little long for a family movie night or to watch from start to end on a school night, which was sort of attempted, and finished the next day. Anyways, it was great! Perfect movie with depth!!

Great for older teens, very thought-provoking
This is a heavy and thought-provoking movie, good for teens who like serious content. My teenager really loved it, and we both cried. There is a small amount of comic relief, which appeals to the younger teen, but probably not enough to engage them in the movie for its full length (160 minutes!). The lead actress' New Orleans accent seems pretty fake several times.

nice story, Too much sex
There is WAY too much sex. But overall the message of the story is that love should be unconditional. And Daisy's example of loyalty is shown througout the movie

something worth thinking about.
this movie was surreal. took back to the early 1920,you could feel the vibe of that time in the world. from the extraordinary custom designs, color tone and set designs. Visual effects are incredible! you won't even notice them. Brad Pitt takes his acting to a new level.its very sad, inspiring and beautiful. with some real funny laughs here and there. it is a bit long, but don't let that stop you from seeing it.

one of the best of 2008
the curious case of benjamin button was one of the best films of 2008. brad pitt does a great job acting this role. the story is well thought out. as benjamin button grows older he gets younger. this affects his whole life. the cgi looks phenomanol. kate blanchett does a good job as well. this movie is around three hours long. it is all worth seeing. the ending of this film is good. some violence is in this film but not anything over the top and there are also a lot of sexual scenes. overall, this film deserves an academy award for something. david fincher is the director he does an outstanding job directing this film.

The Curious Case is an excellent case of moviemaking.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is an inventive film based in part off of F. Scott Fitzgerald's 1920's short story. The idea is creative and the movie uses visual effects and makeup for more meaningful things than what special effects are mostly used for these days, fight scenes. Epic and affectionate storytelling at its finest. A triumph for director David Fincher, mostly known for his thrillers (Se7en, Zodiac, Panic Room) now takes on a more gentle subject matter and does it just as well. Note to parents: There is some near-sex scenes, some brief war violence, and language, but nothing truly damaging for teens.

I started watching this movie with a friend. It got so boring throughout Benjamin's transformation, we stopped the movie about halfway through. We never even got to the part when Brad Pitt actually looked like Brad Pitt...
