well, since it has Keannu Reaves in it, its bad. i dont get why it got such a high rating on commonsense, i saw it when i was 8. there was one part with blood for like a second, and there is also a nasty part where they stab a alien and take his guts out, but if you fast forward through that part this movie is OK for 8+

This was one of the, if not the, worst movie i have ever seen. It was boring, pointless, and full of CRAP! Keenu Reaves is monotone the ENTIRE MOVIE! I could have acted his part better...at least i would change my tone to make it seem that i was the least bit interested in acting the movie. and the big robot thing you see with the laser...POINTLESS! he just stands in central park or something the whole movie. i never fall asleep in any movie in the theater but i was darn close in this one. i think that a 4 year old could see this movie because there is nothing except some language. it is boring. Take the advice of someone who this movie was rated for and don't waste your saturday night or whatever on a load of crap. trust me, you won't regret it, no matter what your sci-fi friends say.

I found it enjoyable, but it can't top the original and is just aiming for special effects and action scenes, even though they aren't even 3 action scenes, it didn't live up to the hype.

What a horrible movie. That's all there is too it- Just horrible. Directors and writers upset me every day. What's next?

i think it is a sort of good movie, but horrible acting by keanu reeves. there is one scene where an alien gets shot, and blood splatters all over someones helmet. the army is seen with guns sometimes, but they only use them once. a policeman is hit by a car at one part, and microscopic bugs kill people. there is one bad word in it, and it is very hard to notice. consumirisem for mcdonalds.

Perfect for older kids, but not for tweens.
