Great sequel, not as good as first but still thrilling

This is a great, underrated, sequel with amazing action, great acting, hilarious one liners, great characters and some good Christmas themes like the first one. The villain is weaker and new characters are not written as well as the first one. But besides those things the movie is pretty good. So lets break it down, Violence 5/5 it's a die hard movie, blood, gore, machine guns, guns, fistfights, massive explosions, fire, chases, grenades and missiles. Language 4/5, a little less swearing than the first one but still plenty of swearing in almost every scene. Sex 3/5, No sex but some nudity including a scene where the main villain is doing Kong foo in his motel room naked. His rear end is shown and his muscles and that's about it. Drinking, smoking, drugs 3/5, McClaine smokes and some casual drinking on an airplane, some mentions of drug dealers but no drugs are shown. Overall if you loved the first die hard movie or just action movies in general, Then I highly recommend this for teens and adults.

More bloody than the last, real life examples

There is no drug use that I know of, but the blood is toned up a bit. People get shot, dramatically spinning around, punching, kicking off of vehicles, stabbings, with gored eyeballs, and someone gets kicked into a plane turbine, with blood spurting onto the side of the plane. John mclane shoots a gas tank on a plane, saying his iconic line as he threw a lit match lighting the trail on fire, blowing up the plane just as it lifts off. The same language is used in die hard 1. Occasional “f—k” and a few “s—t”

overrated.

I was disapointed when I saw this film, it had some violence but Commonsense media are going over the top saying its a 16+. Some people might like it but personally, I didn't think it was the a great film. Its not terrible but I wouldn't recommend it.

Realy good but extremely violent

I am a 13 years old and I saw die hard 2 with my father. It is one of the most violent movies I ever seen. We are talking here about slow motion with a lot of blood and for some teens on my age it can be really bad. I think that teens from age 14 and up can handle with all the violent.

2nd best Die hard

Die hard 2 is a great movie, but had lots of language, probs more than die hard 1. But the violence not to bad. Some shooting and stabbing, the worst is a neck slit. A lot of action. A guy gets crushed by a machine. Very unrealistic but that the best part. Some nudity, naked mans back, but all you see is his butt. Overall 2nd best die hard!!
