great movie, very gory
i have only seen the unrated version, it was very gory, had lots of language (mostly the f-word and the s-word),shows a woman naked, shows a marine take drugs, not very good role model.

Stupid. Prior to contrary belief this movie is NOT great.
Little kids are just bragging about watching this movie. I'm still rather young myself, but quite frankly, I found that it was outright boring. A waste of time. Don't bother. RANDOM RANT: fuzzyleetlelammz 'adult' (yeah right, more like a 10-13 year old) Quote: "they say naughty words." reading that review made me wonder how far our world has come. People are proud to admit their desensitization. We are growing up in a world of violence, excessive profanity and child exploitation. The future looks very unstable. I'm going to be killed by a five year old before I reach the age of 20 because they've been introduced to movies like Saw and the Human Centipede from a very young age. Wish I'd been born 50 years ago. I don't care if kids scoff at this review and say I'm being pathetic. They've been brainwashed, a lot like the idiotic (and I mean that, no sorry in here) parents that are allowing their children to watch things like this. They're CHILDREN not potential criminals or prostitutes.

This section needs some commenting.
@treeza yes I totally agree with you, hope you read this.Children should not be exposed to strong violence at a young age,but what can we do?we can't help it that we are living the generation of gore, the maniac society ,can we??And saying you're gonna be killed by a 5 yr old when you walk out the door personally beats everything. That's like saying if you let an 8 year old play Halo the kids gonna steal his parents .44 and blow the first person the see to pieces.Or let them watch Dracula and they're gonna try put on makeup and vampire teeth and bite everyone they see.I know I may sound bit immature there but hear this.If you know your kid gets influenced by violence ,why do you even let him watch? The violence wouldn't be caused if the parent had been responsible and watch out for their kid in the first place. Its nobody's fault but yours.Remember that. That's not to say all parents are bad just because they let their kid see something edgy.It depends on the kids maturity. You can't judge every kid saying they will become violent once they watch something just because your kid becomes violent. Not everyone is the same.Everybody is different. That's the argument I'm trying to put across. That said, for instance I have seen hundreds of horror films as a teen, from the 1940s to the 21st century, even some of the worst movies in existence,or movies like Human Centipede (First Sequence) and (Full Sequence). Then again,I haven't really punched anybody or swore in an argument before.I can't remember the violence in the film. Then again, its not very fair to say I am brainwashed or what not ,right? If your kid can't handle it,stop, put it down, reflect and say no.They may hate you, they may even hold a lifelong grudge against you for it but you did your job.I do understand where you are coming from,I'm just offering a suggestion.Yes,you are right, just don't discrimate everybody because of one kid.Enough said. You may argue that I am pointless and this stuff could traumatized a child.Just read it,think about what I've said and read it again. Is there any meaning in this?Think about what I've said and you will find my point.Again,I stress think about it,don't jump to conclusions. @fuzzyleetlelambs Are you sure you are an adult? You may be one,but you really sound like a child. If you're a pedophile in disguise ,good for you(no offense).I am not insulting anyone,I'm just wondering from your comment. Back to the review, this is a pretty good movie but good if you are mature and can understand it.I used to play the video game when I was 5(another example of being introduced to extreme gore at a young age) and its very different from this. Again,if you think I'm some maniac who's going to pull out a .44 and point it at someone's temple, please take the time to read the above comment.Would appreciate if people would take the time to read this rather than just scroll through.
