I thought the review to this dvd was the most stupid review I've ever seen.
There was mild violence and only one use of strong language, although some kids or adults may find this movie extremely disturbing, because it does have scenes of blood and gore and a lot of darkness in the background.
To any viewers who are reading this because your child has asked to watch this movie,I say don't say "no" because it didn't scare me at all.
Thx! :D
When I first saw it I was 10 and I didn't think it was scary or violent. the spiders in it are computer animated so they look fake and it got a bit stupid at times. there is a little bit of romance in it, but no sex or anything. If your scared of spiders don't watch this movie, I'm not scared of spiders so I found this movie fine.
This modern take on 50's Sci-Fi films is indeed gross, and definitely scary, but compared to other modern day Horror films this is not to bad. The only real blood you see is green spider blood, which you have probably seen in "Gremlins" (the gremlins had green blood), and when people are attacked you can really only see the spider on top of them wiggling around. The violence and special effects can be scary and really creepy, but that's usually how it works with over size bug (or should I say arachnid) movies. There is sexual references, and two people briefly make out in a car. Finally, some of the language is ruff, and maybe sometimes unnecessary. So after all I've said parents you should keep children away from this film. But other than that this spider movie is a good choice for a monster movie marathon, and though Common Sense denies it, it has a few little comedic moments that will make you laugh.
