Nice love story. It's very cute and quirky. Ella is a strong character who speaks her mind even when she has a hard life. She is a great role model. No concerns really. But there are some sad bits and some violent scenes....
I loved it and can watch it over and over and over :)
AAAUGH!!!!! this movie is terrible!especially if you loved the book.i don't see how the author of the book let them make that bad of a movie!I mean, the prince char fan club. Seriously.
ok so this is NOT the same ella, char, or any other character you might of read about in the book. Not the same plot either by faaarrr. i mean its good as a movie, but horrible compared to the book. Might as well say ella enchanted book, instead of ella enchanted. I wish they made a new movie for the real plot.
Giants, ogres, and even fairies! All of them are packed into this wonderful fairy-tale. And Anne Hathaway does a wonderful job as girl whose troubled with a spell her fairy god-mother cast on her when she was a baby.
I really relly love this movie! It's the best movie I've ever seen! A little concerned about the crude jokes. The kissing scene was very sweet and romantic but a little too full on and something I don't think little kids should see. The songs in the movies are classics and well chosen. I love it when Ella sings Somebody to Love, it's superb! The chemistry between Ella and Prince Char is beautiful and I always love a good romantic movie. It was also full of good messages about believing in yourself and never giving up. It's also a lovely light-hearted fantasy movie where you can have smiles, laughs and escape reality for an hour and a half. I've watched the DVD hudreds of times! Definately worth the money!
I loved this movie. Anne Hathaway is a fantastic actor in this. She definatly shows perserverance and also shows that you can do anything. I looove this movie. Definatly on for ages 5 and up.
I love this movie so much, i own it on DVD and watch it countless times! It may be very different from the book but I don't think that's a bad thing, it's good they decided to make the movie a little original! The genres is a mix of a musical, fantasy, action, adventure, comedy and romance all into one excellent and entertaining movie! The chemistry between Prince Char and Ella is lovely and there are so many moments that made me smile, laugh and cry. I'm a little concerned about the kissing scene between Ella and Prince Char, sweet, but too full on for little kids to see in my opinion. Over all though, 5 stars! If I could give it twenty stars out of twenty I would without a second thought! I reccomend buying the movie and listening to the soundtrack too!
Cute movie! Good for all ages and the whole family. Ella is a great role model for all kids. The only thing that may frighten younger ones is the evil king and when Ella is commanded to kill the prince, but all ends well.
a great famly movie. everything is in this wonderfull movie. fairies and magical spells for the little girls and ogers and giants for the boys. what could be better?! and ella is a perfect role model for others. the movie shows not to give up and allways try your hardest!
Well-made movie is nothing like the enchanting book
The first time I watched this movie I was very disappointed, because I have been a fan of the book since I was little and there's not much left of the book in this film. It's a shame they decided to edit out so many things, and felt compelled to add a villian when in the original story the curse was villian enough. Many of the book's best parts (the Cinderella masquerade ball, Ella's father actually playing a part in the book's plotline, the wedding sequence) are missing.
But on re-watching it, I think it has its own merits. It's still clever and funny. Anne Hathaway is ideal and you never lose interest watching her as with other fairytale heroines. Kids of all ages will love it, and will appeal to both sexes thanks to equal amounts romance and action. There is some violence, but nothing kids over 8 can't handle. In short, it's a pretty good family film as long you don't expect it to have much to do with the book.
