Great Action Movie Funny at times
I Luved it it was so cool cuz we had surround sound and i was sad when it was over. Seemed a little short. There is alot of Bloody Vilionce and some languege, some water torcher, and stuff but overall A GREAT ACTION/COMEDY!!!!!!

pleas dont waist your time watching this movie it compleatly sucked!!!!! it was a waist of my time. Anyway the movie wasent that good. The plot was jambled up and hard to follow. There was ALOT of violence and drugs. Every scene was a bloodbath and it was all over coccane. Plz dont waist your time.

enjoyable for some 14+, preferably 15+
i think this is basically a full-on gore-fest filled with the worlds biggest action heroes from previous films. i believe when i saw it i loved the gore and stuff, but i am one of those guys who can laugh through a grenade-launcger through the torso, but almost faint whilst watching a detailed surgery show.

Crazy good but extra violent. No younger than me.
My favorite movie ever!! It was really violent! One guy had a huge shotgun and blew the other guy in half, his waist up flying against the wall. My rating, R for intense sequences of strong bloody violence throughout, some sexual refferences and some brief strong language

Its Cool
It was a pretty good movie if you like action movies without a great storyline. Don't get me wrong the storyline is good just not great but the action is really cool. There is also some blood and gore, mainly right at the begining.

I REALLY LIKED THIS MOVIE! IT WAS VERY GOOD! IT HAD A BUNCH OF VERY FAMOUS ACTION STARS! FOR EXAMPLE: JASON STATHAM, JET LI, AND SYLVESTER STALONE!

Stupid, skip it
This movie was HORRIBLE! The acting was terrible and the plot made me cringe. The action sequences are somehow not entertaining. This film is basically an excuse to show a lot of exploding heads and stabbings. There is a lot of gore, including a guy getting ripped in half. Also, there is a scene where a woman is tortured by waterboarding. I would rate it R for strong bloody action violence throughout, language and a scene of torture.

This blockbuster film had all the action stars, and some whopper special effects. But it was BORING in some spots. It was very violent so it'll appeal to any boys 10+. Even though it is up to the guardian to decide because it is very violent.

All-star action cast makes one very gory action thriller
There is a huge amount of grisly, brutal violence that dominates The Expendables, I very entertaining but at time almost nauseatingly gory all-star action thriller which definitely isn't for younger teens or the faint of heart for that matter. Also, there is infrequent but strong profanity including several uses of F-ck, sh-t, crap, h-ll and more. Also, there are a few crude sexual references. Still, it's a lot of fun, if a bit gruesome.

Not As Bad As You Think,But Very Graphic,And Violent Movie
Expendables,The Gory Action Film,That Has The Mind Blowing Stunts,And Awesome Techniques Made And Directed By Sylvester Stallone.It Isn't As Bad As You Think It Is.The Movie's Main Problem Is The Gory Violence,Enemies Get Blown Up,Neck Ripped,Bodies Crushed,Cracked,And Torn Apart.The Language Is Another Part But Not As Bad As Many Movies,The F-Word Is Used About 7 Times.Including D-Word,H-Word,And Others.Definetly Is R-Rated But Really So Much Action In The Film You Really Dont Pay Attention To The Language At All.Sylvester Stallone And Many Stars Including Jason Statham(From Death Race,And Transporter),Steve Austin.And Many Other Stars That Play Important Roles As Good Role Models Of Stopping A Drug Scandal.Also The Other Part In Movie Is the Drugs,Including Sylvester Stallone That Smokes Cigars In Most Of the Movie,And the Movie Is About Stopping A Cocaine Product Being Shipped Around The Globe.So Overall I Put This Action Packed Movie Allowed For 14 And Up.Not Because I'm 14 And I Put My Age And Up,But Because This Is Good Advice For Parents.Hope this Review Helped!!!

It's a decent movie, but there is strong language. People are shot, stabbed, blown up, and tortured with water. There are some parts where people get shot in half, get their limbs or head cut off, or get their neck snapped (those parts are mostly brief and bloodless.) OK if you can handle the language and violence. Oh yes, and part of the plot has to do with a drug dealer.

THE EXPENDABLES=Exciting for older viewers who are familiar with the cast.
Alright, when you think of this movie, you might think;Blood,Gore,violence,stabbing and so on. But you have to know this, Stallone wrote and directed the movie so there is a meaning or sense to it. These are a group of Expendables who don't have anyone to trust but each other.They dont fit in. As they go through with their journey, they get recognized and as Sly Stallone says "They get their morallity back" Now this movie is about almost the same as other movies, good guys kill the bad guys, shooting scenes and so forth. The characters are also very bland as in there is really no more history or description of these characters, exept for Jason's character. The only way you feel comfortable with the characters is by relizing the classic muscular actors which makes this movie exciting. This movie is all about the actors doing some really intense stunts!

First of all, I've seen this film twice. The first time I watched it, I probably would've rated it a 7/10. But the second time I watched it, I got it a bit more and understood, and due to that it is an easy 10/10. The story is really good, and the action scenes are extraordinary, and the cast is just awesome. Now, you are probably thinking, 'Why did he say that there are good role models even though they just shoot people?' Well, they do shoot people, but it isn't for no reson. They shoot the bad guys who actually deserve to die, in order to save the innocent. There is a bit of violence. All the shootings and stabbings are realistic, and some of it its bloodless, and even if you you see the blood, it is normally just little squirts. There is some language, but it isn't very frequent, there are about 6 f**ks, a couple of s**ts, and some other milder language. There is no sex, but there are some sexual disscussions. The main villain is a drug dealer, and one guy is referred to a drug addict, but no one actually takes any. There is a very short scene in which there is a bag of cocaine.
Overall, this is a spectacular film, with maybe some unsuitability for anybody under the age of fourteen.

AWESOME MOVIE! ONE OF THE BEST ACTION MOVIES EVER!
awesome movie one of the best action movies ever! at the begging a man is shot in half (its brief and not long) people are stabbed and shot along the way most of the time with blood. theres a scene were at least 100 people are shot by a plane the close ups show blood. theres a scene on a basketball court were men are beeten up then at the end of the scene you may think a man is going to be stabbed but he stabbes the basketball and threatens him. people (mostly at the end) have limbs shot of including some quick scenes of head exploding and scene were a man with a huge gun kills at least again 100 people with blood and limbs flying everywere. pretty much action violence through out with blood. around 5 f-words most used by bruce willis one use of the d-word same scene as the f bombs and some s-words with milder language. some smoking (not a big issue in this movie). overall a very good movie but just a warning at the movies its very very loud.
