Entertaining film for younger teens

This film was really entertaining, but had quite a few mature references to drinking and sex. Later on in the film, the main character goes out to a club and gets drunk. Lots of scenes were fairly cringey but the relationship that develops between Samantha and her boyfriend is positive. Would recommend watching for teens who are 13 and above as it is more mature, for example towards the end there are 2 mild kissing scenes. This film also shows a strong relationship between a daughter and her father which is inspiring. Was a very fun film to watch.

Great movie.....but

This is a great movie for older kids ! There are some bad words, There is a lot of focus on college life, including frat parties, refernces to casual sex, drinking, and hot girls. At one point, Katie Holmes' character is running around in a bikini, including a trip to her father's office in said bikini. I had to pull the plug on this one. But over all it was a pretty good movie.

Classic teen romance movie.

Classic predictable teen romance movie. Would recommend watching “Chasing liberty” if you like this movie, as it has similar themes.

Great Movie but....

This movie is really good, however the daughter drinks at the end and gets into some trouble. Parents, if you don't want your kid to see drinking or partying, turn the movie off towards the end. Other than that, this is a good coming to age movie.
