Ummm...
Ok, 1, it's not a Disney movie, it's a Dreamworks movie (Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda etc.) 2, British accents aren't annoying. Anyway, this movie is fine. It was a little boring and the humor falls flat. It might encourage kids to start watching soccer (takes place in the UK and soccer is big over there. Toad plans to flush city during the World Cup Finals and Sid watches it while he's at Roddy's.)

Good for 6+
Movie Outline: Flushed Away •Recommended Age: 6+ •Sexual Content: All this will probably fly over most kids' heads: The heroine tells the hero to reach in her back pocket for something, and then she exclaims that she meant her pocket (implying he touched something else). The heroine's pants fall down, and the hero says it isn't what he wants to sew before he dies. The hero accidentally kisses a bride on her wedding day. Two characters fall out of a chimney, and when they stop rolling, they are lying with their legs tangled, looking a bit like they were having sex (though clothes are on).  •Violence: Limited, animated violence, nothing above a PG rating. Kicking, punching, etc. The entire story revolves around the villain trying to exterminate an entire species, which younger kids may find frightening.  •Profanity: Mild name-calling/mild swearing (dumb, idiot, suckers, etc.) •Consumerism: None.  •Positive Messages: Family and friends are more important than money and wealth.  •Smoking/Drugs/Alcohol: None.  Please look for more complete reviews from MovieReviewGuy!! commonsensemedia.org/user/moviereviewguy

Flushed Neutrally
This was another cute clamation but it just didn't interest me that much. It was good enough to get 4 stars though. This movie is ok and it's cool if you see it or not.

Funny
Cute movie. It's hilarious, but there's some rude humor. A pretty innocent film.

Iffy for five year olds
We have the film, but my siblings LOVE IT. I think the slugs are annoying and obnoxious. According to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), it was rated U (Universal (4+)). Sex is a major issue, as well as consumerism. Consumerism includes the Rubik's Cube, Madagascar, Wallace and Gromit, Heinz Baked Beans, Lego's, and more. Scrabble mentioned but not portrayed. Language includes "dipstick" and "darn."

Pretty corny, Wallace & Gromit is better, but kids might like it.
This is definetly not one of the better animated films of the year. I didn't like it, but it was a teeny bit funny. Kids may like it, but for teenagers, it's boring and lame. Nothing to worry about for parents really, except the chance that your teenager will kill you because you made him/her see it.

One word
One word...BORING! Some parts would make me laugh, but I thought it was stupid overall for kids between ages ~10 and up. Sorry, guys, but don't spend money on this movie! Leave younger kids with a baby-sitter at this movie (if you REALLY want to waste your money), and see "Marie Antoinette", instead!
