This was definitely NOT for children. The main characters are icons in the horror genre and the movie was mostly laughable with little dialogue but lots of gore and sex. The kids killed are the type typically killed in such slasher films; underage, drinking, doing drugs, having sex. The heroine is the typical "good girl" who is in love with the boyfriend. There is a rough moral of sin being punishable by death as is the norm in these types of films, but it's mostly just about the body count.
