It was OK, I thought the parts that were ment to be funny were funny but it was still kind of cruel when the bad guy tried to shoot the ducks, when he tride to have the guard dog sick Garfield, and when he picked up a crossbow and aimed it at a group but it was good otherwise:)
Garfield should take this film to the litter box!!!
The film was slightly better than the first, but was still disappointing.
Big Mistakes:
* The whole thing about a prince cat looking like Garfield and them accidently switching lives is too bouring.
* Jon's funny, because he's a weirdo who doesn't get the girl, but in the film he and Liz get married.
* Ian Abercombie (Mr. Pitt on Seinfeld) shows up, but doesn't get anyting funny to do.
On the positive side Billy Connolly was the bad guy, and Bill Murray voiced Garfield again.
I loved this movie. It was much better than the first one. The jokes were really funny. I also really love the extended version on the DVD even more. There were just some crude parts. And one thing to point out is that the movie is only 79 minutes but the extended version extends it way longer. 7+
Violence (G): A charecter throws a heavy blow to another charecter.
Sexual Content (PG): A man proposes to a woman, much to Garfield's displeasure, a charecter flirts between two girls.
I do not realy reccomened this movie or Garfield 1. they are good family movies but they are not must see movies. But you might like them.Garfield 1 is out on dvd.Garfield 2 is in theaters.Hope you see them soon.
While the story line is a bit too complex for a 5 year old, mine enjoys the antics of Garfield the cat. Adults may get a kick of of Bill Murray as Garfield, otherwise it's a pretty forgettable movie.
