Kind of strange, but good!

It's not very violent, but there is a lot of moderate violence, and brief graphic violence at the end. Violence: 4/5 Sex: 2/5 Language: 4/5 Drugs: 1/5

Funny, solid, dark humor tweens and up will enjoy.

This movie is very entertaining, and despite being about an assassin, surprisingly lighthearted. If you're looking for something that's going to make you see the world in a completely different light, this isn't it. But it's not trying to be. Grosse Pointe Blank is just a fun watch. There is violence, but it isn't particularly disturbing,, and even at it's roughest points, is still oddly funny. It's a well rounded, dark comedy that's a very fun way to spend an hour and a half.

Excellent action comedy for teens and up

This is an excellent action-comedy about a professional hit-man who builds a romantic relationship with his former prom date while visiting his hometown on a mission to assassinate an important person. It is a bit tame for an R rating, it contains occasional strong language and infrequent but strong violence, though not overly so. I'm mature (not to brag) and I first watched it at 9 but for average kids, 13 and up is definitely OK.
