Awesome movie overall. I rate it PG-13 for brief sexual content and language.

I don't gush to often when it comes to movies, but this is an exception. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! I could see it over and over without getting tired of it. I saw this for the first time when I was 9, and have adored it ever since. The sexual behavior and violence (Phil tries to commit suicide many ways), are iffy for under ten, but other than that, it's perfectly fine. The message is good, (Phil learns to be a good person by the end), and Rita with her always-optimistic but strong personality, is a great role model for girls.

Why the heck is it rated PG-13!??? 7 yrs and up could watch this.

i jsut recently saw this for the first time and i loved it, i think it should be rated pg! sure he does seduce women, and says he loves them when he doesn't mean it and only wants a one night stand, but its nothing you won't see in most movies, and he learns to care about other people. i thought it was great.

There wasn't much blood/gore in the violence, but it was more disturbing and flinch-like when it happened.

Groundhog Day is a funny romance! There are a few suggestive lines. This man also attempts suicide several times. If these scenes are fast-forwarded, 7+.
