    Agreeably the darkest HP yet

Yes, Prisoner of Azkaban was pretty dark, more so than the first two HPs. But, as most everyone agrees, this is the big turning point. I love this movie, but I must admit, this is my least favorite of all the HP movies yet. If you knew me, you'd say, "What? But it has a dragon in it! Everyone knows how crazy you are about dragons. They're your favorite magical creatures, O, wise and beautiful one." Okay, so I wrote that last part, but that's what my parents call me. (Love you, guys!) I will admit one thing, though: I AM crazy and I'm happy about it. Try it, it's fun! The other thing I'll say is that there's one little four minute long part in the movie I don't like. At all. Period. The bathtub scene in the middle of the movie. Yet again, you speak, but this time you say, "A WHAT? I thought this was a Harry Potter film." Yes, it is, and this is, so far, the worst thing in the series (I've only seen/read to HP #6) Besides, you know, the middle of that scene when Moaning Myrtle starts flirting with Harry (in the book) and climbs into the tub (not in the book) with him. I had the same look on my face as Harry did: annoyance, fear, embarrasment, and just a hint of anger. I'm sorry, but that's just sick! Who wrote that? Oh, right. Well, besides that, this movie was perfect! Just watch out for when that guy chops his own hand off.

Outstanding, but not for young children.

This is a great movie, but a lot of stuff from the book that I would have liked to see in a movie was left out. In terms of inappropriate content, there is some language: d***, bloody h***, p*** off; some violent and frightening scenes; some s*xual content including some images of a topless mermaid who's hair barely covered the breasts, a ghost girl who gets up close to Harry in the bathtub; a mild reference to h***s*xual relationships, and other mild romantic content.

good movie that might be to much for SOME 9 year olds.

i still like this movie but i loved it in 4th-5th grade (9-10) Although in fourth grade near the end when Voldomort and wormtail where torturiing Harry (That scene includes scary images of voldomort who does look creepy, and torture of a 14 year old boy includong cutting into his arm with a knife.) it did scare me a little especially when i was watching it alone. But by the time i was 10 i wasn't so scared of it anymore. So i don't recomend this to any kid 8 and under. I do recomend it to SOME 9 year olds who like a good scare and i recomend to all 10 and ups.

After about 1 and 45 minutes of watching think "why was this PG-13!" But then at the last 30 minutes of the movie I think "Oooooh", because you see harry get a blood sample from sobody and you see the blood spattered knife. Also you ssee this teen laying dead on the ground. In some family movies you see dead people with there eyes closed, but in harry potter his eyes were open which made it realistic and scary. but this is a good movie

Ok for 11 and up,(in my opinion).

I love this movie so much. The book was so amazing! I was dying to see it. But, they skipped ALOT of parts in it. When Voldemort turned into human form, it would definatly scare younger kids.

    great

the characters are brave loyal and make good choices, a bit scary but i dont see why it's so bad if you mention an alcohol's name it's not saying to drink it and not everyone knows that butterbear has alcohol in it. The deaths in it might be scary too, but its a great movie!

    I LOVED IT!!!

I loved this movie!! It is my favorite movie that they have made. I thought that it was pretty accurate, except a little from the graveyarf was left out, and when Harry was in the Hospital Wing, and Sirius was in it. And that Rita Skeeter is an Animagus. I thought that Daniel Radcliffe acted awesome in the Graveyard scene!!! I liked this movie sooo much, I got it loaded on my PSP. I thought the scene with moaning Myrtle was really funny!!! And the big, intense fight with Harry and Voldemort was AWESOME!!!I would recomend this movie to anyone 11 and up.

    Excellent film!

In this movie there is no guns or blood spraying everywhere. There is only wands, dead bodies, and a little blood. The most violent scene in this film is in the grave yard. Someone gets killed, a wrist gets cut off, and blood is drawn. It's scary, but it only lasts a little bit. There are also other violent scenes spread throughout the movie, but I don't consider those an issue. An inappropriate scene in this film is when Harry is taking a bath and there is a ghost girl flirting with him. There is also some kissing after the Yule Ball, but I don't think it's that much of a problem. I love the Harry Potter series and recomend it to all above age 9!

    Excellent film!

In this movie, there isn't any guns or blood spraying everywhere. There's just wands and dead bodies. There's one scary scene where Harry is fighting a dragon. That's pretty much the most violent part. Otherwise, there is other mild vioence throughout the movie. The most inappropriate scene is how Harry is taking a bath and a ghost girl is in the water with him. And there is some kissing going on at the ball, but that is not an issue at all. Other than that, it is a wonderful film where there is action at every corner. I love the Harry Potter series and I recomend it to ages 9 and up!

GREAT !!!!!!! ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES!!!!!!!

Great movie, though it does skip details from the book. Anyone who likes the serise would like this film. At the end it can get scary or dark and there is a big intence fight in the grave yard. in it there is violence such as the avada cadavra curse (the killing curse)and tons of spells. becides that it is a great movie.
