Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the awesomest Harry Potter movie that exists. If I could rate all of them,I would rate this one with 5 stars.I've watched it like a million times, and I'll still watch it.

but not great like the others

Kissing scene unnecessary
The Order of the Phoenix is definitely aimed at a more mature teen audience. There is an unnecessary kissing scene followed by Harry describing the kissing sensation to his friends. It was a forced, unnatural scene. I am 46 yrs old and even I was uncomfortable with it. I know my 13 yr. old son thought it was gross.

Best Harry Yet!
Great Kids Movie--no blood---just keep getting better and better. Would have the kids read the book too, which imho is even better.

Very good
This was a great movie. Some violence, death of major character in non-violent way. Although no one else seems to think this was an issue, I thought that there was a little too much of the kiss between Harry and Cho... so, not good for kids below 13 but age-appropriate. The plot would be a bit hard to follow for those who haven't read the book. But all in all, a very good movie.

Great movie for family and appropriately aged kids.
Have loved all the HP movies and this was no exception. Definitely take your kids 11 and up.

pretty ok
The 5th film is way better than others and the things with Lord Voldemort and Umbridge where really changing my sons attitude actually I thought it was the whole film but as a 5th grader he wrote stories about Harry and he did plays so I can tell he loved it.

great!
Harry Potter books are like the bible to me. the Movie wasn't exactly liked the books and there were many changes, but you can't expect to fit about 800 pages into like a 2 hour movie. it is a little dark for real little children to see but i would take a six year old to it. people complain about it not being like the book but a lot of people i know that the movie have never read a book. there are people that only read the books or only watch the movies the ones that do both just have to deal with a few changes. Over all the movie was a hit and the violence wasn't terrible only a few dementors, centur attack and wand dueling fight. The kiss was flimed very well. a five star for me.

ok for a movie, sad for HP fans...
The standard of the movies are still far away from the book. The visuals of this movie are cool, but it doesnt not live up to my HP expectations. The acting is getting more.. hollywoodized, to overdone, seems more like a teeanger movie between harry and hermione.. not magiacal like the books.

Disappointing casting
ro, Reread the TOoTP and enjoy structuring the massive holocaust that is to come in Book 6 and finally in 7. This movie is sad. Tonks is kooky, dramatic, cartoon-charactered in energy and appearance and madly in love and totally unpredictable. She zings in and out of scenes. She's a TEASE, a NERVE in motion. Not so in the movie. Luna, likewise, should be awkward,neglected-looking, embarrasing to be seen with, clingy, needy, brusk, goofy, full of wierd unsolicited advice and "magical facts." In the final chapters of Deathly Hallows, these two NON-conformists play vital NON-conformists' roles. Here it's poor casting and dull, stiff directing. It's not that Daniel is such a stick - it's that he was instructed to frown and moan and stand with a stiff neck. Poor directing with no respect for the various ages of the audience - from wide eyed actionlovers to mature motivation seekers. The sense of continuity in the "WAR", the need for escalation of fear and threat, are mouthed but not Lived. The provocations for HP's anger, the zany twins rebellion, the prophecy of Draco's rank as "Deputy" to Umbridge - None would ever have been understandable to someone who hadn't read the book. Even the music was nondescript. HP 5 was melodramatic and shallow. I'd rate it as a "Do over!"

Harry is Getting Older and Bolder
I take my kids to see Harry Potter each year a movie comes out. They have grown up with Harry and have actually caught up with him in age (14 & 15). I think the issues in the latest movie are appropriate for their age group. Every 14 and 15 year old is dealing with attraction to the opposite sex and I feel that this movie handles Harry's attraction to Cho appropriately. The violence was not too over the top in my opionion. There are cartoons with more violence than you will see her. I have family members who have a problem with the whole concept of wizardry, thinking that it is un-Godly. I say that Harry Potter is the classic example of good against evil and that it is teaching my kids that concept in a venue that they can understand.

DANIEL RADCLIFFE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved this movie!!!!!!! BUT, They NEVER include Peeves!!! It is their loss thet they don't include his rebellion against Umbridge!!! I thought the movie was not very accurate to the movie, since they left out some key parts. I think they have the perfect casting in this movie!! Daniel Radcliffe ROCKS!!! I also think that people don't give Luna enough credit! She is HILARIOUS!!!! They left out the aftermath of the snake dream, before Harry goes to Dumbledore's office. They did not include much of what happened in the department of Mysteries!! And there wasn't the usual talk between Harry and Dumbledore at the end. But, I really, really liked this movie. I give it an A+! P.S. I thought the battle between Dumbledore Voldemort/The possesion scene with Harry and Voledemort was very, very well done!!!! Go Daniel Radcliffe!!!!

Great Movie! If You Saw 4 And Could Handle It, You Can Handle 5!
Hey, first of all, I saw this IN THE THEATERS when I was nine. Of course my parents had to preveiw it but they thought it was fine and guess what it totally was! The violence gets a bit rough, but I could handle it. If you've seen number 4, you can handle number 5. 4 is much more scary than 5. I also know that all the stuff you all may have thought was "Unessesary and gross" was in the books, so it was nessesary. The movie is great and has turned into one of my favorites.

Good Movie
This movie was very good. I think they could've explained some things better, but it was my favorite of the first five harry potter movies. I only say it is iffy for age 7 just because they might not want to see a certain character be a little bit bloody from the attack by a snake.
- I rate this title on for age 11 and give it
GOOD!!!
GOOD MOVIE!!!!!!!

Think About Buying Not About Seeing!
Although I encourage people to try this movie out, it is kinda lame compared to the book. They leave a lot of important things out which make the book look like an Oscar Winner and the movie like a bummer x 10!

I Laughed so Hard!!!
I have enjoyed all of the Harry Potter movies and find them all very fun to watch!
- I rate this title on for age 2 and give it
Very good... but the book was better
This movie was very good, although the book was much better. At times the movie got a bit boring, and it didn't have the excitement of some of the other films and the books. I think the PG-13 rating makes sense. After all, there is some violence, and Harry and Cho kiss for kind of a long time.
