“Herself” is a movie w great messages but also violence
This movie is very inspirational but the domestic violence is very scary for kids under 16. Would be useful for families to discuss characters, conflict, themes, symbolism, perseverance, hero’s journey, the legal system, being yourself, choosing a family from friends if your bio family is dysfunctional, etc etc
