Hidalgo is the wild ride of a story about a horse rider who leaves Wild Bill Hickock's show to run in a dangerous horse race for money. Along the way he encounters a rich, scheming woman, dangerous mercenaries, plagues of locusts, dust storms, a power-hungry nephew, and a captured princess. The film is very violent and has mild sexual innuendo. There are several chase scenes and battles, making this film innapropriate for anyone under 12.
