Violence: creepy guy with wax face kills people by ripping off their skin and pouring hot wax on them to turn them into wax people to put in his wax museum while they're still alive. Sexual content : Paris is shown in her underwear and bra.
I think Chad Micheal Murry was so hot in that heck in every thing he does.I thought he was cool in the movie. And I thought it was cool when he saved his sister I thought he was so brave.
Definatly not scary, just desturbing. Yes they do kill everyone and eat thier fingers but it's not scary...too me. A scary movie i saw was Drag me to h***. i felt like i had to sleep with a knife under my pillow after that.
i could handle this movie. The jump scenes were moderately intense and the bloody effects looked fake. Of course a lot of things to me are fake in horror movies. This movie was pretty good, but it wasn't a good horror film, if that makes sense. Good for ages 16 and up.
I watched this when I was like 7 or something because of my brother peer pressuring me to. I HATE IT!! This movie left me soo scared for a very long time, I felt sick to my stomach after I watched it and the only thing that made me feel better was a little kids game my sister let me play. Anyway- sometimes I had a fear of getting out of cars or out of beds, afraid some maniac might snip the back of my ankle!! There's poles that go through heads, heads that get chopped off, fingers that get chopped off, etc.. Its stupid. Like all horror movies. Whoever gets pleasure out of things like this are obviously brainwashed.
Of course I'm not that scared of this movie as much as I was before but I still am mad at my brother for making me watch it >.<
I Tivo-ed this movie a couple nights ago and just finished watching it. I was shocked at how decent it truly was. I was expecting just another fun throw away slasher flick, but this was more than that. This was true, edge-of-your-seat horror. Parents, Saw this film is not. Sure, there's some blood, but not gross-out gore like you would expect. There's one brief (Paris Hilton) strip scene, but it only goes up to her bra and panties, nothing more. There is some cursing, but unlike other teen screams, you don't really notice because it's not that common. And believe it or not, the ending will shock you. Plus, Paris Hilton dies in this movie. Actually, I probably should have said that at the beginning of this review because you'd already be at Blockbuster by now. But seriously, this is actually a decent horror flick, and it's definitely worth your time.
From a glance,House Of Wax may seem another rubbish by the book sequel.Truth is,the original was much better.Ive watched this and the classic orginal and I've got to say although made in the 1900s,the classic has still much better acting and storyline. There was very little dialogue which is something I dislike about movies and the script, acting was AWFUL.I predicted the plot before watching it and get this:I DID not use any spoilers. Its so predictable. And awful CGIs.The violence is gross but so fake that the few who see this will probably laugh at the effects.Paris Hilton is seen nude, this is very brief and she gives implied oral sex although this is very hard to see and offscreen,we only hear moaning and the sounds of thrusting, though the sounds obviously give away they're having sex, although they pay dearly later. She gets shot through the head with an arrow and blood drips out and the boyfriend finds superglue on his face,he attempts to rip it off but ends up ripping his face out(don't be disgusted, this isn't even graphic and we only hear sound effects which are fake) .Overall, not the best a Paris Hilton film can achieve.
