the movie is mature and really shouldnt be exposed to younger teens. unfortunaltly, there are older teens in highschool who act like this so as vulgur or whatever as it was, it was pretty accurate. typical teen movie and overall i dont think it was that bad. although i was a little distracted by that guys obscenely huge nose. what was that???
I watched this with a friend of mine. We both laughed throughout but there were still some parts that disturbed us a bit. It's probably not the best movie to watch in mixed company (with boys. I wouldn't, anyways). I also probably wouldn't let my younger siblings watch it until they were 16 or 17. Pretty funny if you like pointless cheesy romantic comedies (which I do :D).
Just wasn't that funny....watched with my 15 year old and his comment was school is not like that at all. A couple of laughs but I thought it was boring. Glad I didn't pay for it in the movies.
Like the subtitle says, it's pretty forgettable, but cringe-worthy at times. The sexual references are inappropriate for kids under 12, especially the vibrating cell phone down the skirt scene. Watched it with my 11 year old brother and there were parts I wish I could have skipped but I was praying it went right over his head.
Beth isn't the greatest role model; she drives like a maniac, but there are good positive messages in the movie.
Leave it for the older kids.
NOT FOR KIDS!!! NOT FOR KIDS AT ALL!!!... or even adults. We actually got up and walked out of the theater. This piece of mindless drivel had only one piece of redeeming value... the theater refunded our money.
The BBFC states, "There is one use of strong language and a few references to drugs, but no sight of actual use." They classified this film a 15 for strong sex references (some moderate sex refences included). Their labeling including this film is kind of strange. The BBFC (I believed) would label the bad language for this one for frequent moderate and once strong. I like their content labeling better than our MPAA.
