Great for mature people! :)
Okay, honestly, the cussing wasn't THAT bad. They probably didn't cuss anymore than what the people in The Breakfast Club did. The violence might disturb some viewers, but I think this movie is definitley worth watching!

Great Movie- But 14+ ONLY
Great Movie, hands down one of the best i've seen this year. Not to much action so the violence is not over the top. Tarantino's most "tame" movie, language is not at all what I came to expect, not to much of it which is nice, the sexually comedic "effect" scene is totally unnessesary.. You would even see it coming.. Not even part of the movie, Overall I would give this a 5/5, 9/10, a must see for anyone 14+

Inglourious Basterds was, to put it simply, one of the best WWII movies ever made. You could put it up there with Saving Private Ryan and Schindler's List. But unlike those, which are both (mostly) historically accurate and dead serious war films, Inglourious Basterds is a very typical Tarantino film with a WWII plot. That does not mean that it's not a good war film. Like some of Tarantino's earlier work, the film is split into several "chapters" that at first are seperate, but the two different assassination plots by two different people (and their cohorts) intertwine in the end. As far as content goes...it's typical Tarantino. This film is thick with gunfights, scalpings, stabbings, beatings, scenes of strangling, and more, including a scene of torture. Blood and gore are very, very frequent; this is Tarantino, after all. However, it's certainly not as violent as Kill Bill or Reservoir Dogs. Language is pretty strong, with quite a few f-bombs (though not as many as Reservoir Dogs), as well as milder stuff. There's also a very brief scene of someone having sex with his mistress; while somewhat graphic, there's no nudity, and the scene's intended to be funny. There's also a lot of (period-accurate) smoking and drinking, and Aldo uses snuff. Overall, if your teen's over 14 and is a fan of Tarantino's work, he/she's fine. If they haven't seen any Tarantino film, I would have to raise the age recommendation to 16 and up.

Great, but violent.
Not going to lie, its violent. It honestly depends on you child's maturity level. If necessary, you can just have them turn away. There is also a brief, 2 second sex scene. It wont be block-able, because it honestly comes out of no where (once again, depends on child's maturity level). Its a really funny, good movie. It can also inspire some discussions about history, and right/wrong. It has a brilliant cast and script,.. I can reccomend it highly enough, for the right child

Great movie, know your teen.
Great movie, but very violent. It's great for adults, and if your teenager is mature enough to appriciate the amazing dialouge that goes with the violence, then it is a movie worth letting them view. There is a lot of foul language, but that's not uncommon in the real world either.

For people who are anti-Nazi and for those who like reading
Other than violence, profanity, and killing Nazis, this movie is really good and yet somewhat bad. The good things are how to rebel if you hate something as deep as killing Hitler and hundreds of Nazis in a theater. This should not be attempted!!! But the bad things are that it is just too much of reading subtitles. It just gets annoying after a while. Violence is almost hard to look at. Extremely violent.

It's a comedyyyyyyyyyy
Having seen every single Tarantino film ever made until now, when I saw this at the movies I got disappointed.this isn't like your average Tarantino flick and it really(hate to admit it,but this sucks).Violence is cheesy and not a very good depiction of the WWII .Not even realistic and dosent manage to grab you with the realistic atmosphere that most Quentin Tarantino films do now.Sad.

Tarantino's new masterpiece is a story of violence.
People who are familiar with Quentin Tarantino movies will know what to expect. Perfect use of epic western music that always fit with the scenes, excellent actors (including Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz, as well as Brad Pitt), well-written dialogues, magnificent storylines and epically built-up tension. As well as strong violent content. There is average R-language in the movie, nothing too extreme. The movie is violent as in terms of bloody, but is not as over-the-top as Quentin Tarantino's earlier movie Kill Bill Volume 1. However, there are some nazis being scalped (you see bloody flesh which most likely is supposed to look like brain), but only one is a closeup. A man gets a stawiska scratched into his forhead (bloody but somehow comical, taking its intesity). A man gets his testicles shot into a gory mess (very quick and not explicit, but bloody). A man gets beaten to death with a baseball bat (violent, but not detailed). Some other violence not THAT strong. The movie is suitable for viewers 16 and up.

This movie was funny and entertaining. There was a lot of talking, but it was good overall. Expect extreme, graphic violence, nonstop strong language, and a brief sex scene (which anyone under ten won't even realize that it's a sex scene.)
