Some course language and adult content

There were some strong words used and they weren't appropriate for my 8 year old. There's also conversations about "love making" which is awkward to explain to a child.

An unnecessary conversation made this movie for older kids

The movie is funny and fine. Some healthy laughs. A male butt is shown in a comical way, but maybe for too long. Flirting is in every conversation but not too explicit. The only thing that made feel uncomfortable in front of my 8 years old daughter, is a strange conversation about how long they have been without making love. It was unnecessary for the plot and I don’t understand why they made it. It was long, weird and unnecessary.

A good Atkinson flick

Reminiscent of the Bonds. Very good gags and some nice slapstick. The odd swear word is there but nothing too extreme and the film has a good story. Definitely worth it if you are wanting something mindless.

Parents beware

The information under “Sex Stuff” is inaccurate. Characters talk openly to each other about “making love”. So if you are planning to see the movie with your kids, be aware it will come up in the movie. My 10 year old felt uncomfortable, and so did I.

Johnny English Review

Johnny English is a AWESOME movie. it does include bad language like A** (twice), C**p and B*****d. you do see a man's naked bottom for about a WHOLE minute. (it was all very funny, though).

Predictable but fun slapstick comedy

If you know who Mr Bean is, you have a pretty good idea of how this movie is going to play out - it's more or less Pink Panther with a talking Mr Bean. There's very little violence, no blood and gore, and very little swearing (the occasional British word like ba****rd or bu**er). There's a LOT of gunplay (it is a spy movie, after all) but again, it's played for laughs and nobody actually gets shot. The sexy stuff is very tame - the movie starts with a parody of Bond featuring a woman wearing a slightly revealing outfit, and Natalie Imbruglia's character asks English about making love - but there's absolutely nothing shown on screen (not even a kiss) and it's all played for laughs at the bumbling titular character. You can see the jokes and cringe-inducing predicaments coming a mile away, but they're still funny. John Malkovich's hair and French accent are hilarious and the film has a happy ending. There is a scene involving a casket in a graveyard that some may find upsetting depending on circumstances but other than that, this is silly, harmless fun.

Not Good for Younger Youth

I work at a child care facility that is conservative when it comes to media, this movie was a bad choice for PG rating. There were two curse words used "ass" and "asshole", there was a scene that they were talking about things like "when was the last time you've made love" and nudity included a scene where the priest had his underwear pulled down and his entire backside "butt" was shown. There was alot of gunfire but I kind of expected this in a spy movie and it was usually comical, like his gun would fall apart or fail. I would place this movie in the PG-13 category easily when in a conservative setting.

People need to lighten up.

Great fun family film, I saw some reviews say there was too much violence for children of 7 years or younger. My daughter and her 7 year old friend were laughing hysterically throughout the movie, they didnt think violence was bad nor did I. I feel some people shield there children a little too much, or baby them making them act younger than they are. Bottom Line you should know your child, and what theyll like or not. Nothing violent here just silly slapstick comedy.

Laugh out loud

Lots of fun, great acting by Rowan Atkinson, our whole family (especially the kids) laughed hysterically throughout.
