Kung Fu Panda is literally one of the best animated films of the decade. It's fresh and original. It's also very stunning, both visually and audibly, and is probably the best Dreamworks has to offer. It's loaded with intense martial arts action, too. For fans of martial arts or CGI animation, this is for you. To begin with, Po is a lovable character and to a certain extent, relate-able. I mean, who else hasn't been told that they couldn't do something, but did it anyways and ended up succeeding? Po is a really good role model and is definitely not your stereotypical muscle-bound hero who can do anything and everything. He's just a panda, he started out as a normal individual (just like you and me), but worked his way to the top. The movie also teaches that Kung Fu is not just about violence and beating up people, it's more than that. There is no secret ingredient to something special, just believe it's special. Lessons aside, KFP is also filled with plenty of action sequences and is pretty dang awesome. However, like CSM said, it might be a bit unsettling for littler ones, but it's not really that scary. Just expect what you'd see in any other martial arts movie: kicking, punching, etc. As for language, there's hardly any, but like CSM said, the word "suck" is used a few times here and there. In the end, Kung Fu Panda stood out as a throughly enjoyable, action-packed, family film that was loads of fun to watch.
