Wonderful and funny
I think this movie is a bit funny because when the fierys try to take Sara's head off and when the goblins are fighting because Ludo calls the rocks and the goblins get squashed. It is also funny at the beggining of the movie when Sarah goes into the labyrinth because she sees Hoggle weeing in a pond.

I luv this movie
i saw this movie for the first time when i was five and loved it from the first moment in the beggining credits with the owl and the really great music the only bad things in it are the goblins, and thats only because really little kids get scared of it. I recommend it for 4 and up... a definite family film!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of My Favoirte Films!
David Bowie's songs and Jim Henson's puppetry make this film a sure winner. Characters like Hoggle, Ludo, and Sir Didymus will delight young children and should get some chuckles out of adults.Sarah learns the errors of her ways, and Jareth is a sympathetic villian that can love someone. Goblin City violence is very mild.

Muppet Maker's Last Film
Labyrinth is a good family movie that kids would enjoy. Some younger kids may get scared in some parts such as when Toby disappears. There is also infrequent language, but only d-words. It is a great movie and since Jim Henson directed it...there are Muppet characters! Also, if you like David Bowie, he is the Goblin King! Great family film!

Good movie...
This used to be one of my favorite movies when I was a kid! I was 3 when I first saw it...Sometimes little kids get scarred of weird looking puppets - but that's because most little kids think movies are real. I watched a lot of movies that would be considdered 'scarry' for little kids, because my dad would always watch the making of the movies first, so I would see it wasn't real... Now for tweens, teens, etc - it is so on - not scarry, & really, there's only one violent scene..But its puppets-so umm..Kind of not the same...It's a pretty good movie :) Sarah does complain a lot, & that's not really a good role model - but the rest of the movie is fine...The goblins are all puppets, & don't look very real at all, so...There's also some pretty cool songs {yea I still like 'em-lol}

A True Classic to be Cherished for Years to Come
I love this movie, and always have. I put the age limit at 2 years or above because I think that it does not depend on age as much as this film depends on maturity. It can be scary for young children (as can most films). This film shows endurance, courage, and many other excellent themes. I thought it was funny and would recommend it to adults and minors alike due to the vibrant story-telling and puppetry. Being as it was the last film that Jim Henson directed before his passing, it encompasses a lot of ideals that he held. Some of the messages (besides the ones I listed above) are the importance of telling the truth, never giving up, and many more. This movie will always strike a chord in my heart, and when the day comes, I will be proud to show it to my future children and grandchildren. By the way - if you like this then I recommend 'The Dark Crystal,' which was another beautiful Jim Henson film.

Stinky Bog not that scary
The only part I thought was kind of weird was that part where that stinky spot had such a scary name. But it wasn't really...it didn't have a scary death at all. It just had where you go into it, it just makes you stinky. That's it. Lucy, 6 years old.

Fun movie
This movie is definitely not a scary or violent movie whatsoever. It is definitely a funny movie, and I love all the characters in the movie. It is a fun movie for younger and older audiences.

It's fine
I have only seen part of it, and that was when the infant gets stolen and the goblins make a mouth of their hands, and the boulder comes. The I Will Sing Of The Mercies Of The Lord song reminds me of the film.

GOOD
it's an old movie, so the monsters and stuff like that are obviously fake, but a three year old might be scared. two siblings are separated, though, so kids who have a fear of that might not want to watch it

Scary goblins!
I think the movie may be appropriate for kids, but the goblins are really scary. They made my brother cry and gave me nightmares.

iffy for ages 5-7
Some very mild language and violonce that kids under 8 should not see. They use muppets throught the show which got kind of creepy.

A really exiting movie
I really like this movie! There are some parts of the movie that are scary like when the fierys (a creature in the labyrinth) pulls of their body parts and then try to take off Sarah's head, but the rest isn't so scary.

5 star
I think it is a wonderful movie with an extraordinary plot. It has a perfect balance of fright but would not be recommended for 2 and younger in fear that they may picture themselves as the baby. It is magnificent movie in all
