Definitely a classic but for older teens and adults
This is pretty much your typical 80's R rated action movie with strong violence including a torture scene and language throughout, brief nudity and a scene of drug use which when you put it all together it makes it best suitable for older teens and up.

Super but violent
We just watched this with our 13 and 11 year old, but I feel it was maybe a little much for them, even though they liked it. The main cahracter smokes, which gave us a chance to talk about how that is no longer allowed on screens. There's a lot of violence, swearing, and some rough scenes with the good huys being tortured, a young woman taking part in a sleazy film, and threats to family. My husband and i ahd forgotten it was so rough otherwise we wouldn't have watched it with the kids!

Good 80`s movie with iffy scenes
Lethal Weapon is a classic 80`s action movie but there is a decent amount of language a few F bombs but nothing out of the ordinary. There is also 2 or 3 scenes with nudity. I think 15 is a good age but if you have a mature 13 year old I think they will be fine

A great buddy cop action movie! But this has to be the darkest movie out of the series!
A female breasts are seen in the very first scene. She then is seen committing suicide by jumping off a building. Suicide is one of the main themes in the first Lethal Weapon film. As the main character "riggs" is constantly suicidal. At times it can be very emotional. This movie is filled with Blood squirting shootouts, not the most violent action movie, but definitely a violent one. Many intense scenes such as Riggs being tortured with electricity, and a teenage girl being a hostage! Though with all that being said, the two main characters "riggs and martin" conversations and arguments are very funny and it keeps the this movie from becoming too dark. Also to mention that there was a quick breast scene in a porno shot. Drugs such as Cocaine is seen all throughout the film. As well there is a lot of cussing throughout the entire movie. About 30-50 uses of the F bomb and many other swear words are used, such as S***, B****, A**, D**n, H***. Lethal Weapon is a classic indeed but please keep away from kids!

This movie about 2 cops that are completely opposite and become partners that work a case on an apparent suicide but unravel a huge case
There a plenty of gun fights and deaths but blood is minimal
Language there are a few “F--ks” and plenty of “s--ts” but most of it will go over there head
Prostitutes are questioned and talked too
Daughter says she smokes weed

Action movie for adults
This movie has graphic violence with non stop shootings. It also has nudity. The violence is too graphic for younger teens.

Intense first movie to an alright seris.
This movie is quite disappointing. It's sort of funny. The opening scene is really intense and yo get the feeling that you're about to get a shock...You see a lady snort cocaine, take pills and jump off a balcony. I can't count how many times the characters in this movie swear. Sex is not a problem.
