Fine for adults / older teens; would not recommend for kids/tweens
Well done movie. But lots of language. Very violent. One inappropriate make-out scene (guy keeps grabbing girl's breast as the kiss)
Overall, I would not recommend for kids or tweens.
This a one action movie you dont want to miss. I will say this the language is a little bit too much hear and it could of taken alot of it out, but it tells us that when somebody needs to get the job done john mcclane can get it done.
I am shocked that some parents are recommending this film to 13 year olds. There is a make out session where a guy caresses on top of the bra of a teen ager, the daughter calls her dad an a***ole, and there is a lot of bad language.
Lacks the fun of the other die hards, still terrific.
CSM, first rates this 14+, which i think is more appropiate, though i let my little bro watch it when he was 12, because i knew he couls handle it. This movie lacks the language of the other 3 Die Hard films, but it still has plennty, including: sh*t, D**n, ass, and a**hole, what the hell, and finally a faded out Yippy Kia Yay! Mother F*cker. The movie also lacks some of the fun in the earlier films, but dont get me wrong, Bruce Willis, Is a heck of a lot of fun in this movie, % stars baby!
The fourth installment in the Die Hard series lives up to its name. Although not as good as its predecessors in my opinion, it is still worth your time. I think that the reviewer before me gave this movie a bit too harsh of a review. For example, the ONLY mention of drugs in this film is when a character is being treated for his wounds by a paramedic. The other reviewer "red-flagged" this. I would disagree. But, this movie still does have its share of violence. There is frequent killing, and high-octane action. But it is relatively bloodless compared to any of its predecessors. Bruce does use his catch phrase, Yippe-Ki-Yay M******f*****, but the word f***** is partially covered by a gunshot.
Overall, this movie impresses me. I would recommend it for kids age 13 and up, just as the rating suggests.
There is lots of violence in Die Hard 4 of course but there is minimal blood. This is great because it can be pg-13 and more people can see this great movie. Lots of language including mostly s--- and a-- but a few b-words as well. So there is lots of violence, minimal blood, and there is a lot of swearing. Overall, a great addition to the Die Hard series!
It's true, this is the best Die Hard movie so far. However, parents should be concerned about the violence, because there is a high amount of if. Plus there's a scene related to sex. Although it's not graphic your kids will get the idea. The swearing isn't much, but there its still there. Overall take my advice and go see this.
