this movie is great, but here is the bad stuff. Violence: A really sad part, where care taker is murdered. also rough football and prison behavior. Sex: Sexual references, guys dressed as girls. Profanity: S--t is all over the place, One f--k, even n---a and h-ll, ass, b-tch etc. Pretty strong for a PG-13. Drugs/Drinking: Starts off with Paul drunk, and references to weed and crack in one scene. Overall, hilarious and great, but not for little kids.

Funny but Iffy
This is a very funny Adam Sandler movie, a fans of him will love it. There is a LOT of crude humor and a LOT of bad language. There are some subject matters and scenes that would be way over the heads of some younger kids. The language and humor is definitely what makes this movie PG-13. The role models aren't very good either because Adam Sandler supposedly cheats in a football game. Sandler also gets drunk and gets into a police chase during which he insults the police officers. Parents need to watch out before letting kids watch this movie.

Funny, but not as good as the original
I took my 12 year old son to see this movie and we both had a great time! There are some references to gay sex and Tracy Morgan (SNL) is hilarious as the team's head cheerleader!
No one in the cast will win an Oscar, however the film is funny and appropriate for kids 12 and older, due to some of the language and a bit of prison yard violence.

the longest yard is a comedy movie that pushes it off the edge for a PG-13 movie and is only recommended for older teens the violence is strong between players getting hit and tackle hard a person being on fire by in explosion burning to death there is gay guys dress in cheerleaders outfits and wearing tights and underwears and girl and they show there butt when they flip and one gay guy kissing a guy there's a lot of strong language used and drinking, smoking, and drug use.

Horrible, Go With The Original
This movie was indespicable. It wasn't funny, it was just stupid. If you like people gettin ghit in the crotches,head, and more areas maybe you'll like it! There is a scene whee the secretary akes adam sandler alone in a room to do SOMETHING, that was innapropriate for young children. Overall, dont waste your money, go see a better movie.

Parents need to know that this movie has the "n" word,several uses of s**t and b***h and the "f" word once.Plus,a lot of uses of h""l,d**n,and a*s.Also,some strong sexual humor and a sad violent scene.But also very funny.

A Pathetic Knock off
Oh... Come on. This is a very poor imitation of the original. Can't Adam Sandler do better than this with his ridiculously overpriced acting fees. There are a million movies out there that are better for your kids. Skip it. You aren't missing anything!

Seen the first? Skip this one.
A lot was saved on writer's fees as this closely paralled the original, but with much more sensationalism put into this remake. With the gender issues, drugs (steroids), and the sensational and graphic pain inflictions make this a movie for the more mature. I just don't feel that this is a movie for the younger set, even with a discussion of the issues this film brings forth.

The Longest Yard was violent, rude, and had a lot of drug references. Characters are beaten, take steroids, and do other disturbing things. No one under 14 years old should see this movie.
