2 Times isn't the Charm
This movie was definitely not as good as the last film. It was kind of boring and was just an origin of Alex. It wasn't that interesting and the characters were just not themselves anymore. I only liked the opening and ending.

...2nd is the best!
I think "Mad 2" is WAY better than the first one...But there are some things you should look out for. There is a GNARLY/funny plane crash in the middle...but no one is injured...and the whole Gloria+MotoMoto deal, But overall that, a great movie to watch with your kids!

tied for best movie ever violence yes sex iffy language no money yes drugs no message no the old lady shoots at the plane and brakes the dolls head which was really funny but could frightin the one where he gets separted can be frighting

Better and a little funnier than the first!!!
This movie is a sequel to the first Madagascar movie. It is better and funnier than the first. The violence is comic, and there is some mild flirting and there is no bad language . I would recommend this film to any kid who is at the the age of 5+. I would also recommend this film to anyone who loved the first film or to anyone who is a fan of this cast.

Kid's Movie? Give me a Break!
It's so dissapointing when hollywood puts disturbing adult jokes in a cartoon! Don't watch this movie at all. It is brimming with adult humor from the time it starts to the last scene. Profanities include openly gay moneys, hippos who value each other only for their bodies, shallowness in friendship, weak male-characteration, and ect. What a waste! It is a really disturbing movie- don't waste your time! These characters are drunk, They take drugs!!! Come On, Its so stupid! Just shut up and watch a real kids movie like Toy story 3!

This movie was either boring, silly, inaproppriate, or ridiculous. There were reacurring jokes (e.g. fixing the plane will take 6 to 9 months but the other characters think it is 69 months) which are not funny. There are animals dying and animals mating. Even the end sequence makes no sense and is not funny. Mort, the penguins, and Julian are not in the story enough, limiting humor. I don't want to even talk about messages.....there are NO positive messages here.

2nd in unfunny series pushes the stupidity boundary
this was a very stupid movie. its suposed to be funny, but utterly fails at it. the jokes are annoying, the puns are pathetic, and its just overly not for laughaholics.

It's fine jus flirting, and a hippo tells her he likes body way to much in my opinoin. It's cute but not as good as the first one! I found it a little disapoiting.

Pause for 6 year olds...
I did hear some adult humor that younger kids or even tweens won't understand... That hippo was flirting with the other hippo I didn't really like... The first one was alot better and more appropriate to younger kids.
