Wow. Now this is what I would say if you said I had to describe it in one word, wow would be my answer. The acting was surperb from all of the three leads (Hillary Swank, Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freemon. Swank's accent could have been a tad better, but the movie was great...never the less.) It deserved every Oscar it was awarded (Especialy Freemon) even though The Avaitor was enother great flim. The boxing scene wan't too grapic. (No gore or anything.) This movie is on my Top 10 list. Hopefully, it's on yours.
Best wishes,

Ok for kids: 10+
expect alot of violence in tyhis film, there are alot boxing matches with graphic and seious inguries. there is some sex but not alot. there is a refference to breasts as well scantily clad ring rings. launguage isn't bad but it isn't good either, f**k is said as well as the n-word. drinking and smoking is visible in this film. many people smoke and drink. there are also some role models as people have a good friendsihp
a great movie for the whole family, there is one scene of gore but nothing extreme, boxing scenes never get graphic, and above all it is an extremely well done film.
ive seen it 13 times and im still not tired of it.migh be to graphic for kids under the age of 5.
this is an extrordinary movie, but is violent, has 1 audible f-word and 2 inaudible f words, and is extremely sad. however, it's one of my favorite movie ever.
This is a very realistic view of how boxing affects the actual people boxing once America turns off their TV screens. If people want to compare it to "Rocky," the only similarites are that it's about boxing and that it won the Best Picture Oscar. There's some graphic violence, and the swearing can get strong, but "Million Dollar Baby" is a strong, moving film with great acting with Swank and the rest of the cast.
This is a very inspiring tale, but not for the young ones. Constant swearing and violence make it too much for the 10 and under group.
When it comes to the ending (not going to spoil it for ya.) it will leave you in tears. Not for the weak-hearted, but for the people that don't get sick easily but still cry if something sad happens, go for it!
