Fantastic Movie(Detailed Description)

First thing I would like to add: Movies from 1999-2006 are Legendary. They just don't make movies this Dynamic anymore. This movie is an excellent thriller, which I watched with my mom one day. If you can handle moderate gore and constant language, then you will be fine watching this movie, as F ..K is used quite a lot. For gore, there is some beating up that is very bloody, and there is a headshot that leaves what appears to be a hole pouring blood out. My description may sound gorey but it's really just bloody. if you are fine with all of this, Then 12+ Now if you are on the more sensitive side of people, then 15+ There is lots of perilous and cruel moments but the movie is just fantastic. and the 2 main characters(Mom and Daughter) are very strong and brave.

BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!

When I saw the title, I thought it was gonna be corny, but once you really get to know the characters, it gets really good. I was on the edge of my seat the entire movie. I will say though, there are a lot of f-bombs, and is kind of bloody at times, but still 10-10 recommendations.

great movie but way too tense for younger kids.

Common sense media said that there was a lot of violence in this movie but I dont think there was that much violence. and how does this movie not have great role models hello there was that one thief he was epic like great role model there. also the mom was a good role model as well as the husband. for violence there is people getting shot and sledghammers to the head but I think its not anything that a 13 year old couldnt handle. and as for swearing once you hear the f*ck and s*ht once i mean like whats the point of trying to prevent them from hearing it again?

Great movie, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

WARNING! THIS REVIEW MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS! OVERVIEW: Panic Room is about a mom who is or is going to be divorced, and a daughter, who buy a new home, and the house has a panic room. That night, they are robbed by three burglars and hide out in the panic room. The story mostly revolves around how they try to stop the burglars from getting inside of the panic room and hurting them and robbing them. CONTENT: The movie is rated R for, I believe, very good reasons. First of all, there is a lot of extreme violence and swearing especially the f-word, which is probably the only reason that it is rated R. Besides that the movie isn't super inappropriate, and there are barely any sexual references at all. OPINION: The movie is thrilling and makes you sit on the edge of your seat. The only thing is that the movie is a little inappropriate because of violence and lots of language, so if you are really sensitive to language or violence, you probably should not watch it. Personally, I'm not very sensitive to violence or language so I thought it was a great movie! MY RATING: R for violence and language.

Panic Room

Not quite deserving of a 16+. A heavy amount of profanity is used, mostly by the thieves, but a responsible 13 year old should recognize that these words should not be repeated. There is practically no sexual or suggestive content, with the exception of one mild reference. Violence is frequent, with several people being shot, burned, and sometimes killed. These depictions are graphic, but no more so than many modern movies and games. As for the movie itself — the acting was very good and the movie was produced well, with excellent music to build suspense. The plot was intriguing as well. My one complaint is that several scenes felt extremely drawn-out and, quite frankly, a bit boring. I’m fairly new to these types of movies, so I’m not sure if this is just a characteristic of this genre — but even so, the ending also left several threads untied, which I found to be slightly unsatisfying. Overall, I would give this a 3.5/5 — good acting, suspense, and production, but fairly average in most other categories.

Good movie- for mature teens.

Panic room is a high-tension thriller that will have you careening on the edge of your seat the whole time. I, personally had to stand up at some points in the movie because the suspense was so strong. Don't get me wrong-- it's amazing. Acting performance is amazing, and the story is great. But, not for young kids. I think that any mature 10 y.o. can watch this, but that's if they'd had experience with suspenseful movies. Also, language. About 76 uses of 'f-ck' and maybe 46-ish uses of 'sh-t' and 10 of 'd-ck' So, yeah. Kinda severe. Violence. Violence, violence, violence. A lot of blood, mostly towards the end. Streaming down faces, hitting, burning, smashing, shooting and other stuff. As for drinking, a man takes a puff of what is supposedly cocaine. Anyway, that's pretty much it for my review of 'Panic Room'

The least psychological of Fincher’s thrillers. But still great.

Panic Room will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. It has great suspense and the direction from David Fincher is great again. But because of the suspense, some kids won’t be able to handle this movie. It is still very tame, there are no sexual images, not a lot of violence, and just some blood. Some parents might not like the profanity though, it is frequent and explicit. But if your child is above the age of 13, chances are they’ve heard worse in school. Anyway, it’s a fun watch and I recommend it. 9/10
