This is an amazing movie!!!
Here are my only concerns...
DRUGS: Hallie, who is 11 years old, is given a sip of wine at the dinner table. Also, The mother gets drunk when she's nervous about meeting her ex-husband again.
SEX: Annie is forced to jump into the lake naked, she also tells Meredith that marriage should be more than having sex. And one couple kisses many times.
Still, get this movie!
This is one of my favorite movies. It's just so funny! I don't know if I'd say like 6 year olds because honestly, are they going to understand it very well? I mean I know when I was littler I liked animations more than regular video recorded. But, it's pretty funny and I'm sure a kid can ignore the parts with the kissing and stuff.
Kissing,One NUDE scene,one use of s--y
But it is so funny... Me and my family watched it and REALLLY
enjoyed it! Annie and Hallie are twins without being told. Until,
One asks the other what their mom is like and the other one asks how their dad is like. They each have a picture of their missing parent and it goes together! They switch places and fake their accents to see what their missing parent is like!
This movie is good. It has some good twists and turns that keep a watcher interested. I watched this all the time when I was younger and now I know every line word for word. Very good(:
A good and funny movie. I personally don't like Maradith so I'm glad the twins tricked her. Also it might be a little scary or disgusting when the lizard goes into Maradith's mouth.
I've watched this movie a million times and I Iove it everytime I watch it! It shows the family and friendship matters. It is also fun for the older ones to watch the mistchief and the girls goof off! Okay so the pircing ear thing might have scared little ones, but they don't show anything graphic about that, or the naked lake thing. Overall its a good family movie.
A fun family feature about love and family "The Parent Trap" is the wonderful film that gave Lindsay Lohan her first film role. And Lohan does superbly well for her first feature film (I wish she hadn't gone down hill like she did), and thats not an easy task since she had to play two roles for her first gig and react to basically herself. The supporting cast also brings comedy and sweetness to the film as well. Plus, Quaid and Richardson do great playing to lovers you try to suppress their feelings for one another, fearing love and and marriage. So if your looking for a movie for family night, this is highly recommended.
