The good stuff

  • Messages:

    Emphasis on helping friends, teamwork, and bravery. Shaymin is a gratitude Pokémon with a singularly ungracious attitude towards one character, which is pointed out repeatedly. One character sacrifices his life's work when he realizes that to complete it would put the world in harm's way.
 

What to watch out for

  • Violence & scariness:

    Cartoonish mild fighting throughout, with weapons ranging from thunderbolts to seed flares to flying magnets. Giratina appears to be electrocuted in a machine designed to kill him.

  • Sexy stuff:

    Not an issue.

  • Language:

    Not an issue.

  • Consumerism:

    May induce sudden need for Pokémon trading cards.

  • Drinking, drugs, & smoking:

    Not an issue.

    This movie is very good for kids and teens who are big anime fans!! It contains cartoonish violence,but not over the top. Great Movie!!
