In entertaining and informative episodes, the show's hosts explore zoos to learn about how they care for their animals, wrestle alligators in the Everglades, work on swamp preservation in Louisiana, return a polar bear who was getting too comfortable in town to the wild, and feed big chunks of raw meat to various scary carnivores.

This series has a strong emphasis on science and conservation, but never at the expense of the fun and wonder of the natural world. And there are plenty of ideas that can come in handy in the real world, from teaching your cat to use the toilet to avoiding bears on a camping trip. Safety is always emphasized, and the end result is fun and informative.
