This movie isn't fantastic, but it isn't bad, either. Cruz is great in her role as the Spanish WHO doctor, and McConaughey seems to be enthusiastic about the part. The plot, however, is a little unsatisfying, and some scenes were unnecessary even if they were entertaining. Steve Zahn is the ultimate comic relief and is one of the reasons to watch this film. Parents, be aware that it is quite violent, and at times reveals some of the hardships of impoverished African people. Some are portrayed as good, but one African man is the primary antagonist.

I really love this movie, it is one of my favorites. There is very little language and the heros of the story are on the good side. There is only one kissing scene at the end which lasts about 10 seconds or less. It is a very good movie-night watch.

I absolutely love this movi!!! I've seen it so many times I've lost count. The only sexual situations are when Dirk makes a veiled reference to sex when he says "everything good has happened to me in the water" and when Dirk and Eva kiss on the beach(She's in a bikini and the scene is short.) Language consists of 2-4 h--ll, 2-4 d-mn, and 2-3 a--words. All in all very little, especially for a PG-13 film.

Very exciting movie! I loved it from beggining to end! I loved the part where the helicopter was trying to deciminate them and about the fifth time it came around and started attacking the guy said "I'm really getting tired of getting shot at!" LOL! i dont agree with those who say it should be for 13+ though. The violence was pretty intense at times but not really a big issue. I think it depends on the kid but overall a mature 11 year old would enjoy it if he understands how unrealistic it is and how africans arent evil or anything. Especially if the kid has seen king kong, lord of the rings, etc.

I was actually suprised at CSM review of this movie. They made it sound bad, but I LOVE this movie. There is hardly any swearing, drinking, and like no sex. There is violence, though. My little sisters (age 11 and 8) have both seen these movies and they love it. It is so funny and intense. Some of the stuff it a little bit unbelievable, but overall this is an amazing movie. You will be entertained by this movie. It's awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
