Not as gory as any of the others.... well more than the first one and maybe the second but thats about it... more twists and turns

Beleive it or not, I liked this better than Saw 2. I liked the storyline and how it blended with the other films. Gore is not as bad, language is still prevelant. If you watch one Saw movie, make sure it's this one!

Now i don't know why people think this movie sucks. I personally loved it! Warning: Contains extreme gore: getting stomach sliced open by giant pendulum blade, intestines, guts, and gore hitting the walls, very gory. Hands getting sliced down the middle by circular saw, extremely bloody! Also has decapitation, electricution, etc. VERY GOOD MOVIE if your a fan of the saw series :P

I loved it! It was the first saw movie I ever watched.. After the movie, my best friend and I rented all the other Saw movies.. He and I loved it! I'm a girl and was 12 [or 13] when I watched them. I don't think it ever would have given me nightmares. When I was 4, I watched Chuckie, and IT, I had no problems. Although, I do think children shouldn't be as callous as they are. I haven't found any movie that disurbed me. I would reccomend it for everyone, it is really great! Plus, the reason anyone watches a horror movie is to watch something sick and demented..

The Saw movies yes they are: Gory, violent and brutal. They are not: Torture porn, real by any manner and bad movies. The fifth one in the series, has always has a brilliant twist ending and traps. Although it is very violent, throughout the whole movie there is a dark underlying message which should not be passed up lightly: Be glad you are living. Again these movies are gory, but very fake. For example (no spoilers): When one of the girls head is decapitated and it falls down, stop motion action was used, with a puppet. It is really fake looking! Please just give these a try and stop being byased against them! If you want to rat on a movie, I've heard some bad things about the Hostels! A solid four stars for a brilliant movie!

I LOVED IT!!! Honestly, me and my friends talked about stuff like this before we even saw (no pun intended) and horror movie!!! But it may be too gory, violent or have too much swearing, but I liked it

Like I've said, it depends on how much you can handle. @zombieslaya: Your kids do not say that. If they do, then they need to be reported (as well as yourself) to a psychiatric ward.

Still very gruesome, bloody, gory and very violent. This installment is much duller than the previous ones. Not much intense and exciting scenes to keep you interested. The script is, obviously, weak (as usual). Saw V fails as a film worth watching.
