Great Classic!
I love This movie its on my to 5 list. This was Al Pacino's best work. This movie has a simple storyline excellent acting. This movie is for adults only no kids. There is a lot of violence lots of bad language lots of drugs and nutity but overall great movie.

Al Pacino is Terrific!
I love this film, best gangster film ever made, me and my 13 year-old son saw this movie together! and we both loved it! i'm think of showing it to my 10 year-old son, but it does contain extreme acts of violence (involving a M-16 machine gun, grenade launcher, pistols, uzis, knives, shotguns, and most of all a chainsaw) with tons of blood! There's not much Sex and Nudity, but there is one super quick scene of nudity (breasts, nipples, belly button, pubic hair, and vagina are visible in this scene) but goes by quick! and one implied sex scene, staring at women, and one extremely violent sexual scene involving a brother and sister (half of her breasts are scene, but you don't see any nipples, because they're half covered)! They're is a great amount of drugs and alcohol in this film (mostly drugs)! And to top it off a non-stop barrage of F-words throughout the film! Does have a good point though "Money, Fame, and Power will always some how lead to sadness and depression". Might want to watch this one with your kids

It's a favorite among teenagers. Yes there is violence/blood, cocaine dealing is one of the main plots of the film and tehre is tons of swearing. However anyone over 13 would already know about this stuff.

Amazing film, not for kids 17-
Great film, regularly appears in the top 20 films of all time. BUT, it says 18 on the cover and 18 is what it is. Absolutely not for kids.

Awesome movie
Very violent there are very violent graphic scenes when i saw this in the cinemas in 1983 with my girlfriend i was shocked then 5 years later i watched the uncut version when i got married it is very violent tony has a chainsaw and cuts up a guy my wife left at that part.the sexual content is largely explicit the swearing is very frequent the drug refrences is large cause it is about drug lords i would never let my 13 year old boy watch it i would let my 17 year old son watch it because he is very mature this movie as a lot of mature themes children will not understand the themes if you have a 17 or over child you could let them watch it but you must make sure they do not repeat it i would say R18+strong violence coarse language sexual content sex scenes nudity drug themes very mature themes that's why my wife got nightmares about it and she kept wakeing up every 2 hours

Brian DePalmas idiotic decision to re-make a black-and-white movie is a huge mess of excessive, brutal and sadistic violence, language and drug use. I think this film should never have been made. Dont get me wrong, I like R-rated movies ("Silence Of The Lambs," except for a disturbing scene near the end; its where the killer is dancing naked in front of a mirror), but this movie was too much for me. Graphic, brutal and sadistic depictions of violence, over 200 uses of the f-word alone, plus numerous other profanities, both in English and Spanish and Tony snorting cocaine in almost every scene were too much for me. I DO NOT recommend it.

say hello to my little friend. Specifically Hello, not hi, howdy, yo, or anything else. You may also not continue this conversation by saying anything such as 'how are you' or 'how do you do.'
You probably thought this was a legit review. Nope, Chuck Testa.

Good role models for kids :)
Well this story is a family fave in our house!! My four year old and nine year old just love it! And u might b thinking "who lets their kids watch scarface??", but when my kids are making bank dealing and making big bucks while your kid is sitting on the couch asking for more candy, you will know why. These charcters r ppl I want my kids to look up to because they know what it takes to be at the top, and what's a better lesson than that?

whoa, whoa commonsense!
To start off with this review this movie has only one torture scene. And it's mostly off-screen and also is the most disturbing scene in the movie. However the other shoot-outs aren't that graphic. Other content such as sex references and some suggestive themes should be okay for kids. Drug use is pretty hard: character snorts cocain often. The plot is about a cuban immigrant who quickly rises through the ranks of the Miami's mob hierarchy. Great for 17+

My view on this movie is, why wouldn't you want your children to see it? It's such a classic and is second only to the Godfather. Sure there's some violence and language, and drugs, but the movie is so good that I find it easy to overlook those. Yes, everybody should know Scarface.

its cha boy
alright scarface is not that great of a movie to start... its not even worth considering one of the 100 greatest movies of all time. its mediocre and its not that controvesial... the stupid conservative mindset of this cuntry is the reason why so much violence is condemmed because they are to afraid to face reality. this is the world we live in. you cant change that. this is merely a veiw of the state of the world at that time. nothing more

It's about a Drug Lord
The movie is a must see movie if you like these kinda of action movies. I have seen a lot of movies on the Drug Kingdom and i would say that this is the best movie of them. However, this movie is not at all for anyone under 17.
