Swearing is constant. Some brutal scenes. Skip the chainsaw scene if you, or your kid, is even slightly squeamish. The movie is worth seeing at least once. Tony Montana is a terrible role model, although an interesting character. He tries to leave his life of poverty behind, he wants to succeed, and also thinks he can do what he wants when he wants. Make sure your kid does not start acting like him!
Violence is very, very explicit and contains a very, very, very good plot.
This is one of the best movies of its time and is the most violent movie ever. The acting was top notch and being a Al Pacino fan it made the movie better. The violence is bloody, brutal and sadistic. The story was amazing and all the way until the powerhouse ending in the mansion. Who could forget the chainsaw scene, the helicopter scene or the most powerful line of all time: "Say hello to my little friend!" The message is actually pretty good. It shows how easy the human mind is vulnerable to corruption and how we can prevent it. 4 out of 5 stars, amazing but not up there with Goodfellas, The Godfather or Casino.

Good film, should be ok for mature 12 year olds but if immature wait to maybe 13/14 it is good a little violent main concern is drug use and language but should be ok for nature people of 12 years and plus
this film is a classic a man a nobody gets involved in drugs violence and women after a couple of months of being in america lots of swearing 207 f words p---y and s--t lots of snorting cocaine and violent. But people said that is film was really violent but i ve seen worse and iam only 12
be prepared for over 100 f words. Montanna's wife even tells him to stop saying it. Characters get high on coke and the whole movie's really about drug dealing. There are some visible breasts and the violence is bloody and you've probably heard of the chainsaw scene. Just keep in mind though that the movies from the 80's so the violence wasn't as graphic as it is now, still bloody though, still one of my faves.
Definitely not for pups, although I saw this movie when I was 11, quite boring really. Later on i saw it for the plot, but when I was 11 i saw it for the action. Good movie if you want to scar your kids from every trying to be Cuban or a drug kingpin. The only time i ever cried was when they killed... Oops spoiler, sorry :X
Not for children though!!!
FYI the 'f' word is used over a 150 times (appx. 170-200+)
This is a classic everyone should watch, other than little kids...okay so not everyone, but yes for teens & up. This has a lot of non stop strong language, VERY bloody violence and heavy drug content but if your teen is mature, there's no problem with this. Sexual content is lighter than all the rest.
great movie with a great message but role models i would think twice about but for the ages of 10 or 12 whitch i am or 11 it depands if you are mature than this movie can be for you if you are not muture dont see this movie untill you are i dont kno 14 or 15
