(Shrek 2) is animated fairytale that's even funnier and better tan the first Shrek. I LOVE this film. Donkey is even better and funnier than he was in the first Shrek film. Puss In Boots is funny. too. I LOVE THIS FILM !!! SEE IT ON DVD TODAY !!! I gave SHREK 2 an ON 4 6+ and a full five (out of five stars) star grade A+ !!!! I LOVE THIS FILM A LOT !!!
Good movie! Made me laugh on some parts! But plenty of drugs, consumerism, shrek and fiona kiss, violence and bad language like "a-s" "oh my god" "butt" "poop" and plenty other potty language bad for little kids.
Shrek is known for bieng an iffy film to watch on family movie night. Shrek 2 keeps that reputation. The a word is said. Shrek gets kicked in the private area as a pathetic joke for viewers. The movie itself isn't pathetic, but it's foundation relies on the inopropriote jokes
Absolute best! I loved it so much! I have it on DVD and it is so good! My favorite Shrek. The only concern is the word "ass", which is brief and shouldn't bother anyone. Love it!
Surprisingly sensual for a child PG movie. Strong sensuality throughout. Most will go over kids heads, however, but there's sexual content throughout. great movie though!
Alright, Puss In Boot is not a homosexual. I'm watching the movie right now and there is absolutely no dig at him. And the Ugly Stepsister is an UGLY STEPSISTER. Not a crossdresser.
It's a brilliant movie. I like it better than the first one.
Sheri 2 was just as good as the first one. If parents let their kids watch the first one then there's nothing wrong with them watching the second one. It contains the same crudeness, innuendo, and messages as the first. I think I would have liked it better if it didn't have as much crudeness, but it's still good.
As good as the first! Normally, sequels aren't as good, but this is great. No little kid is going to understand any catnip reference to drugs. Maybe the use of ass appropriately referring to a donkey might make little kids gasp, but make sure they know what it means when it's not a swear word. Potty jokes are sorta gross, that's all. Worth seeing, worth buying, worth watching, worth loving. It's awesome! :)
Shrek 2 is by far the best in the Shrek franchise. They took a huge leap further from the first movie in both story and animation. The jokes were very clever and, if not over-their-heads, really child-friendly. A few of the things in this movie shouldn't be immitated by really young children, though, but I think they should know that already. The new characters were also one of the best touches to this sequel. I liked how they portrayed Prince "Charming" as a conceited idiot because I think these "charming" princes in fairy tale movies are just too much. I also like how the Shrek movies don't have a young-looking and "beautiful" couple, but two ogres, which says that anyone can find love, even the supposed "ugly" ones. Great movie for 7 and up.
