I like The Simpsons so I thought the movie would be good too, but I was shocked at some scenes! SEX There is a penis shown for about 3 seconds. Common Sense regarded this has 0 kisses (sex icon)! This made my jaw drop (the penis and how Common Sense rated it.) LANGUAGE (Mild) Godd**n, c**p, a**, hell Also, as Homer is running, he has two middle fingers up. This only lasts for 5 seconds and it's not really in your face, but observant kids will get bad ideas! VIOLENCE Some characters get killed and squashed. There's also an angry mob in one scene. Overall, it's funny but much more explicit than the cartoon.

the Simpsons is the longest broadcasted animated TV show ever, and not whit out reason. besides being hilarious comedy, it is rather critical to the society in a funny way. And all shows this successful are followed up by a movie. The Simpsons movie is mostly like any other simpsons episode, only stretched out into a full evening play movie, witch gives it time to tell the story full out not to rush it. Even though there are a few suggestions and reference to sex and nudity, and Homer drinks a lot of beer (his favorite), and Bart, the son in the house has a brief scene drinking whiskey, the movie will probably in no way offense parents in any way making the movie inappropriate for children, unless the kids are below and age of 8, is the kid mature 7 is fine but he or she will probably not enjoy the movie so much watching it at such and early age due to the fact that he or she will probably not understand much of it. being a funny movie it is a perfect choice for your family evening whit pizza and a movie. so enjoy!!!

I think that this movie is hilarious, but there is one nude scene with Bart skateboarding naked. This movie is not as kid friendly as the TV show, but I would say that it is iffy for 7+. The movie is very funny and I recommend it highly.

So what if you see a brief shot of barts penis. my child has a penis and sees it everyday. my 2 children watch the show all the time and if they ask me questions about certain jokes or subjects I tell them what it means. A child who is knowledgeable is a child who is wise. To be open with your children makes them comfortable to come to you with their problems and not affraid to question.

Its one of my favorite movies ever, and i think you should see it. However, Bart does do a naked skate scene, and his penis is showed for a few seconds. If you see it on TV, it will be censored. This is more then you would find in a regular episode. Language is the same in the TV show, and Bart gets drunk. Overall, its a nice movieand it on for 10+. However, I recommend watching it on TV unless your ok with Bart nude forr a few seconds. Other then that, get it on DVD.
