Excellent movie! Ingenious plot, and FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY! I don't even watch the show that much, and, despite the constant "you have to be a fan" comments, I still loved it. There was one scene when Bart skateboards around town naked, which wasn't a big deal i guess, but then they had a brief moment when they showed his private. I guess it got away with the PG-13 rating because it's a cartoon.

Funny, but too explicit for who it's aimed at.
I like The Simpsons so I thought the movie would be good too, but I was shocked at some scenes!
SEX
There is a penis shown for about 3 seconds. Common Sense regarded this has 0 kisses (sex icon)! This made my jaw drop (the penis and how Common Sense rated it.)
LANGUAGE
(Mild) Godd**n, c**p, a**, hell
Also, as Homer is running, he has two middle fingers up. This only lasts for 5 seconds and it's not really in your face, but observant kids will get bad ideas!
VIOLENCE
Some characters get killed and squashed. There's also an angry mob in one scene.
Overall, it's funny but much more explicit than the cartoon.

iffy, a story about bart drifting away from his dad. spring field pollution. 1000 eyes trapped forever epa epa. wathch the movie and thats the summary. sexual, disturbing images.[barts 'doodle']. swearing. not for young funny classic movie for 11+

Funny, but not as good as the show
This movie is for the older kids and adults, not 5 year olds. Bart goes skateboarding naked on a dare between him and homer where you see his butt and a few-second shot of the front of him. Marge says the GD word, but many other swears can be found too. Bart gets Drunk. Homer makes fun of church. To make this review shorter, if you didn't like the show, you won't like the movie.

Funny, goofy, and a little inappropriate.
I think that this movie is hilarious, but there is one nude scene with Bart skateboarding naked. This movie is not as kid friendly as the TV show, but I would say that it is iffy for 7+. The movie is very funny and I recommend it highly.

One of the best movies ever. Period.
Its one of my favorite movies ever, and i think you should see it. However, Bart does do a naked skate scene, and his penis is showed for a few seconds. If you see it on TV, it will be censored. This is more then you would find in a regular episode. Language is the same in the TV show, and Bart gets drunk. Overall, its a nice movieand it on for 10+. However, I recommend watching it on TV unless your ok with Bart nude forr a few seconds. Other then that, get it on DVD.

Its IS funny, but mostly boring. And the scene with Bart skateboarding naked? That was kind of unnessecary. Rent Grown Ups-thats alot better.

pretty funny movie to watch, but silly
in one scene it shows barts penis while riding a skateboard in naked, and two men police officers kiss and went inside the door (nothing physical, but a kiss) and bart drinks a bottle of whiskey, some moderate bad words like d--n, and c--p, homer strangles bart, a robot commits suicide, mobsters haul a dead body in a rug, and such

Terrible just terrible. I am a TRUE SIMPSONS FANATIC. I've seen every episode at least 6 times, but this is worse that any of them. I was REALLY REALLY REALLY excited for this movie, and when I came out of the movie theater, I was 7 and I asked my dad, "was this movie legitimate?". I've LOOOOVVVE the Simpsons since I was very, very little, but this was awful. I suggest this to people into crappy movies. Sorry to be so harsh on this movie, but this only got 2 stars from me because of the likable characters.

funnest for tweens and up
This was a really great movie. I saw it in theatres, and now own it. There is not really anything to be concerned about, except for the part where Bart skateboards naked. The plot was also really good.

have the same things as the tv but just a fast quick shot on bart's penis and ralph (fun) comment "now i like boys" and like the show one gay kiss
