All of my friends think this movie is one of the best of all time. "Anchorman," "Other Guys," and "Elf" were all way better than this, though this does beat "Semi-Pro." There aren't any hilarious jokes, but there is alot of funny stuff spread throughout. Maybe I would get it better if I was a racing fan!

It wasn't funny, and it was surprisingly boring. Only a few parts made me look up from what I was doing and giggle a little. I wouldn't HAVE to see it again. Pretty bad, too. Two young children are calling their parents swears and are extremely rude and talk about sex.

My rating: PG-13 for crude innuendo, comic sports violence, language and some drug references.

movie gets funny at one part and then stops

This movie's a classic. Totally poking fun at the NASCAR community/rednecks, but all in good fun. There are some "swear words" but nothing you wouldn't hear at the friendly neighborhood Wal-Mart. Some sexual content may concern some mothers, may excite some sons. ;) Excellent movie all in all

hilarius!! This might be the funniest movie I've ever seen!

Parents: This is one of those very funny, pretty good, (I give it BARELY 4 stars, a 3.5 really) but VERY hard PG-13 movies. It was genuine, well acted and casted, and very funny, but not consistent in its humor. I was bored for a couple stretches. It's worth renting. But like I said, a STRONG PG-13. I notice CSM forgot to include Ricky Bobby's stupid and unfaithful but sexy wife flashing him at least twice, including one other flash given by another girl. Of course, none of these flashes are seen, even in the Unrated version. But it's still suggestive and it is a running joke how the stupid men in this movie can't resist these girls when they do that. Much sexual innudendo and some heavy kissing also. Violence: not a big issue. Car crashes. The main thing is Ricky stabbing his leg with a knife, but it is non-bloody. Language: Sh*t is CONSTANT. REALLT CONSTANT. Pushes the envelope. And of cours many of words, including 3 uses of f*ck. This may be only in the unrated version, but two of those f-bombs WEREN'T bleeped out. LOTS of commercialism. But it's funny. I'd say fine for 14 and up, but remember the messages this movie sends. It is heavy on stereotypes and a running joke is how dumb almost ALL of the characters in this movie are. Some demeaning messages about winners and losers as well. It's funny, but don't forget what your kid is watching.

I like this movie. It's humor is inapropriate at times but mature kids can handle it. There is language but I've heard it before and any kid 11-12 has too. There are many references to drugs, but I don't think there is very much violence.

Well first the sexual content is a big issue. The only reason why people say the film doesn't have sexual content as a big issue is because younger children didn't get it. There is jokes about gays, having sex, sleeping together, and more raunchy material for a PG-13. The profanity in here is a big problem. Almost every second there is a kid or adult swearing. Now the biggest issue is the social behavior. Kids talking to grandpa's tell them to shut up, be quiet, that he's an idiot. It's not good.
